A/N: Hey everyone! I am back with yet another Dramione story. I love this certain idea, which you will get to know soon, so I wrote it as well. Read the A/N at the end to find out when the next chapter will be out. On with the chapter!

August 1st 1997, before Fleur and Bill's wedding.....

"Harry- that is not how you do it- Oh no- Harry!" Hermione gasped as her lovely cat, Crookshanks, scratched her best friend across his face.

"Damn it!" Harry yelled, kicking the cat away from him. "I don't even know why I tried to pet this ugly beast-"

"He is not ugly and his name is Crookshanks, you idiot-"

"Shouldn't you be scolding your cat instead of correcting me, which I don't even care about, might I add?" The Boy who Lived touched his cheek and winced. It hurt like hell. "He is the one who scratched me, and I am your best friend for Merlin's sake!"

"Yeah well he is not the one who doesn't know how to listen to clearly told instructions." Hermione frowned and picked up her cat. "Oh you poor Crooks. It is not your fault that Harry here doesn't know how to pet you properly."

"I don't know how to pet him properly?" Harry's jaw dropped to the floor. "I did just like you told. You clearly said to touch his head slowly at first, and if he doesn't get angry, then I can touch-"

"Exactly." Hermione cut him off. "I told you to do that if he didn't get angry, and he clearly did when you first touched his head, which means that he doesn't like you. You should have just backed off then and there, instead of trying to-"

"I can't believe this." Harry sighed dramatically and sat back down on his bed. "You are taking his side over mine. And you call me your best friend. Oh what has this world come to?"

"With this level of dramatics, I think you should have become an actor." The Gryffindor witch rolled her eyes and sat down on the chair opposite his bed. "Well you still can, if you want. I think you will at least get an Oscar. And the amount of other awards you will get for I don't know anybody as dramatic as you-"

"I thought you knew Malfoy?" He shook his head. "He is the most dramatic person I have ever met. I mean, do you even remember how he used to be a drama queen? I am sure he still is, anyways."

"Harry." She warned him.

"Fine." He held up his hands in surrender. "But you told me not to talk about Malfoy like he was an evil person, which I know he is not, because of what I saw at the Astronomy Tower, but you didn't tell me not to talk about him in any sense. So technically, I am actually right."

When Hermione didn't say anything, Harry grinned widely at her. "Does that mean I have proven you wrong? Wait, am I the first one to do so? Oh how amazing it feels for sure. I can't wait to tell everyone about this."

He dodged the book Hermione sent his way.

"Stop acting like the prat you are, Harry James Potter." Hermione narrowed her eyes at him. "And you don't need to boast about that fact. Which is really stupid, you know? But then again, you tend to do stupid stuff so it is not like I can say much about that."

"Now that is the evil Hermione Granger speaking and I do not like her at all." Harry stated. "The Hermione Granger I know is not mean to her friends, let alone best friends. And she won't ever call me stupid."

"The Hermione Granger you know had also set Snape's robe on fire in her first year, so you shouldn't underestimate her at all."

As she spoke before thinking, her eyes widened as Harry suddenly frowned.

He had made it clear that he didn't want to hear Snape's name, or even anything about the greasy haired man.

He had, after all, killed Dumbledore and even used a few spells on Harry while the young wizard was trying to catch him.

So even if Hermione said that as a joke, Harry did not like to hear that git's name, but luckily before he could say something, the door opened and Ginny walked inside.

"What are you both arguing about?" The red haired witch asked as she sat down on the chair next to Hermione and took Crookshanks from her. "Oh how are you, my dear? I think you are looking skinny, perhaps your owner hasn't been feeding your properly."

"Now that is where I call the limits." Harry glared at the two witches. "I don't know how you two can like this ugly creature. I don't even want to get near him. He scratched me for Godric's sake!"

"He scratched you now, did he?" Ginny tapped her chin in thought. "Then it must have been your fault, totally. I got no doubt that Crookshanks would never hit anyone without a proper reason."

"Now that is what a perfect best friend is like." Hermione patted Ginny's shoulder. "You should learn from her, Harry. She knows how to appreciate a good cat."

"You two are mental, I swear." Harry grumbled. "Perhaps I need to send you two witches to the mental ward of St Mungo's. I mean, the person who likes Lockhart has to be mad."

"Hey, we didn't know that he was a fraud." Ginny protested and Hermione nodded in agreement. "Besides, I didn't even like him that much. It was your best friend Hermione who had a crush on him."

"You are a traitor, Ginevra Molly Weasley." Hermione hissed and took Crookshanks back from her. "You don't deserve to be liked by my cat. We both hate you."

"Oh I say the truth, Granger." Ginny smirked and threw a book at the other witch's head.

"Hey, books are not meant to be thrown at people, Ginny." Hermione picked up the book and put it properly on the shelf.

"Says the witch who tried to throw a book at me earlier." Harry commented. "Honestly, Hermione, why are you such a hypocrite-"

As if sensing his owner was getting made fun of, Crookshanks immediately leapt up from Hermione's arms and launched himself at Harry.

"What the- get off me, you terror." The Chosen One yelled as he tried to cover his face with his hands while the cat tried to scratch him.

Though Ginny laughed at the scene in front of her, Hermione wondered if she really was a hypocrite. Not in the joking sense, of course, but when she remembered how she had accused Draco Malfoy of buying his way in, and that the Gryffindor team had got pure talent, and years later, she had confunded Cormac because he was being a jerk, and also as she wanted Ron to be in the team in their sixth year.

Yeah, Cormac was a total disgusting jerk, but he was a good player, well at least in the try outs.

And even though what Draco had called her after that and continued to do so, Hermione wondered if she had been wrong about him. As just because his father bought new brooms for the whole team, it didn't mean Draco had bought his way in.

Because if he would have, then surely the captain wouldn't have allowed him to play any more games, and obviously Draco wouldn't have become the captain later.

Besides, the Slytherin team had won their rest of the games over the years, except against Gryffindor, right?

So whose to say Draco wasn't a good player? He had been playing since he was a young kid, and the main point was that neither she, nor her friends had attended the other games of Slytherin.

And as minutes later Ron entered a room and sent her a smile, Hermione wondered if she still liked him.

Sure, in her sixth year, she had feelings for him, and even thought that she loved him, but looking back on it now?

No.

Perhaps those feelings had vanished when he started dating Lavender, a girl whom he complaint about most of the time later on. And perhaps the hurt Hermione had felt then had been enough to make her realise that a boy, who couldn't appreciate the girl whom he was dating, and treated his female best friend like a last resort and nothing more than a walking encyclopedia, was definitely not worth crying over. Or even having feelings for.

And now, the irony was that just when Hermione had realised she no longer liked Ron in that way, the said wizard seemed to have started sending her clues and signals that he liked her.

Oh Godric, Hermione thought, why were feelings so complicated?

But one thing she knew for sure, as she looked at her best friends, was that nothing was ever going to be the same again, and specially not with the war this close.

Easter 1998

"So got any ideas, idiot?" Theo asked as he munched on a green apple while standing outside Draco's bedroom.

"Oh so the genius idiot doesn't have any ideas and he is asking for the help of none other than the great Blaise Zabini." The Italian wizard smirked at him and leaned against Draco's closed door.

"Feel free to sod off." He snarled.

"But didn't you just say that you needed my help?" Blaise frowned and took the apple from him. "Hmm I see you have already eaten this delicious apple. I wonder if there are any more in the kitchens. Or perhaps the house elves of the Manor would bring them for me."

"Focus on the main topic here, idiot!"

"Hey! I am not an idiot. You are." Blaise rolled his eyes at him.

"Well I am not an idiot either then." Theo shook his head . "Then that leaves us with Draco, so he is an idiot. But he is a sad idiot, and we need to prank him to make him snap out of that dark mood, before his deranged aunt tortures him even further, both mentally and physically."

"Why didn't you say so then earlier?" Blaise said in a serious tone as he threw the green apple away.

"Are you freaking kidding me?" He crossed his arms in front of him. "Do I need to spell out every single thing for you? Are you five years old or eighteen years, huh? Salazar, I don't know how Pansy managed to fall for you."

"Hey you don't get to be rude to me." Blaise almost pouted. "And it is just like I wonder how in earth Luna started liking you. I mean, who would like a git like you? Perhaps she is out of her mind, or those nirles have messed up with her head."

"They are called nargles, you idiot-"

"Whatever. It doesn't matter, Theo. It is not like they are even real so-"

"They are." Theo insisted. "If Luna says they are real, then they are. I believe her with all of my heart. She can never be wrong."

"And that, ladies and gentleman, is what you call being whipped for someone." Blaise waved his hands around the hall. "Or also someone who is wrapped around his girl's finger."

"You say like you aren't whipped for Pansy." He rolled his eyes at him. "You worship the ground she walks on-"

"As every person should do for the one he or she loves-"

"Yeah we have established that you love to become all poetic and romantic, Zabini, but what matters here is that we are trying to prank Draco-"

"Oh!" Blaise gasped. "Look how much time you have wasted by starting this useless arguments, Theo-"

"I did that?" Theo's eyes widened. "You were the one who started arguing about, wait I don't even remember-"

"How can you ever be a good best friend if you don't even remember what I had said, my dear Theo-"

"I am not even your best friend." Theo hissed. "You are lucky that I am even this friendly to you, Blaise-"

"Oh please." Blaise rolled his eyes. "If it weren't for my kindness that made me become your friend, I know you will be following after me like an obsessed stalker just like Potter followed Draco in sixth year."

"You know, for once I had actually thought that Potter was in love with Draco." Theo nodded to himself. "But then again, Draco's always had a crush on Granger, and also, Potter got together with Red. Oh wait, that reminds me-"

"Don't." Blaise warned him. "Don't even start that topic, Theo, or otherwise I will punch you way harder than Granger punched Draco-"

"Calm down, lover boy." Theo smirked at him. "I wasn't even going to start on the topic of you once being hopelessly in love with Red, also known as Ginny Weasley-"

"I wasn't hopelessly in love with her." He protested. "I just thought that she was attractive for one second and that's that. Besides, I am very happy with Pansy-"

"Yeah we have covered that topic and I can hear the wedding bells. Just propose to her soon enough, don't even know what you are waiting for. But you better send the first invitation to me-"

"Weren't we going to prank Draco, Theo?" Blaise cut him off. "We need to prank Draco."

"Nice try in changing the topic." Theo snorted. "But you are right, we were planning on pranking him. So if you have cared enough to take your mind off Pansy-"

"Like you haven't been thinking about Luna all this time-"

"We need to prank Draco-"

"And you don't have a single idea, git-"

"Mind your language, Zabini, because you are the git here-"

"Then I suppose I can call you a prat, idiot, stupid, rat, cockroach-"

"Draco's a cockroach as his love of the life so eloquently called him years ago-"

They both gasped as they realised something. "WE NEED TO PRANK DRACO!" They both shouted.

Suddenly, they heard someone laughing inside the room. Exchanging cautious glances, they slowly opened the door. Their jaws dropped as they saw Draco laughing loudly while sitting on his bed.

"You two are the best, I swear." Draco commented between his laughter.

"Well thanks, Draco-"

"Best jokers, I actually meant." The blond wizard smirked at them.

"Thanks but no thanks, Malfoy." They said in unison. "Anyways, how did you even manage to hear what we were talking about?"

"I think you have forgotten the fact that this room has only one way silencing charm. You can't hear what's going inside the room, but I can hear everything that is happening outside." Draco explained it to them.

"Oh right, I-"

Blaise was cut off when they suddenly heard a shout.

Bellatrix Lestrange's shout.

"Oh come down, Draco dear." She shouted. "We have some guests to attend to."

"You both need to get out of here right now." Draco got up and pushed them towards them towards the fireplace in the adjoining room. "If Aunt Bella gets to know that you are here, she won't hesitate in punishing you."

"You sure you will be okay, Draco?" Theo hesitated before entering the fireplace.

Draco quickly nodded and squeezed his hand. After his best friends had flooed back to Blaise's house, he took a deep breath and exited his room. On his way to the hall, he saw Peter Pettigrew standing there, and rolled his eyes as the wizard followed him inside.

Draco's eyes widened as he saw who were staring directly across at him in the drawing room.

Oh none other than the Golden Trio of course, you know?

-----------

Draco tried his best to block out Hermione's screams using his Occlumency, but he couldn't, not with the girl he used to bully staring at him while his aunt tortured her.

Oh Salazar, he wanted to ask, why her? She is so pure, so innocent, so brave, so kind, so nice. She doesn't deserve this.

Let my aunt Bella punish me instead of her. I won't even scream, I swear. I won't plead for her to stop. Just please not her. Not Hermione, please.

And as much as Draco wanted to save the bushy haired brunette witch, he knew he couldn't, because his knowledge of spells was no match for Bellatrix's darkness.

And if he dared to do something, he had no doubt that Voldemort would punish his parents later for his betrayal, and Draco didn't want that.

Forcing himself to calm down, the blond wizard now decided to think of ways to help the Trio escape, instead of just standing there and watching something that would definitely appear in his nightmares in a way worse than that.

"How can I help them?" He muttered to himself. "The two idiots are in the cellar, and Granger can't escape by herself. They don't even have their wands with them. Otherwise they could have apparated, but then there are wards- That's it!"

Sending his mother a quick glance, in hopes that she would interpret it perfectly and not let his father look at him, lest his father tried to stop him, the Slytherin wizard took a few steps backwards and looked around the drawing room of his room.

He slowly brought his hands upwards and took a deep breath. That was the only way he could use magic, that is, if he didn't want anyone to see him using his wand or trying to stop him.

Draco hoped that his wandless magic won't disappoint him now, not when he needed it the most.

He used his nonverbal wandless magic to remove the anti apparation wards that surrounded the Manor and the grounds, hoping that his father won't notice the difference.

And when the rest of the Golden Trio came back, he didn't even show much of a fight when Harry tried to take his wand from him.

After all, Draco was an excellent duelist, he could have defeated Harry in seconds if he wanted to, but just like the rest, he too wanted to escape the life he was currently leaving.

Don't get him wrong, Draco wasn't a hero in any sense, nor did he wanted to be recognised as one.

He was just desperate, and so he would do anything in his power to help them, for he knew that only the Golden Trio would be able to defeat Voldemort.

Even if he had to get tortured afterwards, along side his parents, as of course, Bellatrix had told Voldemort how the Golden Trio had escaped, and if anything, then the Dark Lord was not merciful.

Why do you think Voldemort gave Draco the task in his sixth year knowing it was suicidal otherwise?

Hours later, Blaise and Theo came back to the Manor and found Draco sitting on the ground beside his bed, his knees pulled up to his chest and his hands wrapped around them, rocking himself back and forth.

He seemed to be muttering something again and again.

When his best friends edged closer to hear what he was saying, they sighed sadly.

For Draco Malfoy had been whispering, "I am so sorry, Granger, I should have done something. Something more than just removing the wards. But I am not brave like your Weasel and Potter. I am a coward. But I wish that you didn't have to suffer because of my cowardice."

The two jumped up when his bedroom door suddenly opened and looked for places to hide, but stopped when they heard a sweet voice.

"It is just me, dear." Narcissa smiled sadly at them and crouched down in front of Draco. "Oh my dragon. I am so sorry you had to witness that, my poor baby dragon."

When Draco didn't reply, and instead continued doing whatever he was doing earlier, as if he didn't know that there were people around him, the Malfoy matriarch broke down and if it wasn't for Blaise to support her, she would have fallen down on the floor on her back.

Theo frowned and wrapped his arms around the blond wizard, despite the fact that the latter was still rocking himself back and forth.

When he saw Draco scratching at his dark mark, as if trying his best to remove the disgusting thing from his skin, Theo immediately placed a hand over it, but he couldn't help but let a tear fall from his eyes when Draco looked at him with grey eyes which held so much pain.

Why? Theo wondered. Why were they fighting? They were just children for Salazar's sake. It was not their fault that their families had allegiance with the dark side and they had no choice but to become death eaters to save them. It was not their war to fight.

There were no winners in this war.

---------

May 2nd 1998, the Battle of Hogwarts.....

Hermione ran as fast as she could with an injured leg, trying to find where her friends were. And the fact that spells were coming at her every second, didn't help the matter at all.

Where had her friends vanished to?

Just an hour ago she was with Ron, in the Chamber of Secrets, successfully destroying a horcrux, and also having an awkward conversation with him.

Who even has that kind of conversation in the middle of the Battle?

But it definitely wasn't her fault that Ron had leaned in again, and so she had to make him understand that it was just a mistake.

That their kiss was nothing more than a heat of the moment thing, and she would call it a mistake.

And Hermione didn't like repeating the mistakes.

When he had frowned and asked her if she didn't like him anymore, because she clearly had earlier, Hermione had taken a deep breath and told him that she had no control over her feelings.

It wasn't his fault that she didn't like him anymore, even though there were a few things he did which pulled her away from him. And it certainly wasn't her fault either.

Yes, he was her best friend, and she had liked him for a bit.

But that didn't mean that he was going to be the love of her life as well, because of so many reasons.

Firstly, they didn't have anything in common.

Well apart from being a Gryffindor and having Harry as a mutual best friend.

And if it wasn't for Harry, she doubted they would even be friends.

Ron had been the first boy to make her cry.

And even if he became her friend later, it didn't take the pain away. And she didn't understand what kind of best friends they even were. Yes, best friends fight, but do they make each other feel worthless?

Do they make the other person cry, ruin the time when they feel the most beautiful just because they are jealous or having a bad time?

Do they choose things over their best friends because somehow, non living things have more worth?

Do they leave each other at a time when the other person needs them the most just because they are foolish enough to believe the rumours and not the person itself?

And also, do they continue acting cold towards each other because somehow, if one kisses someone it is perfectly fine, but if the other person does as well, it is not okay because they like that person but are too dumb that instead of confessing, they are dating someone else and then later on dump them cruelly that too without giving any proper explanation?

No.

Hermione didn't think so that best friends should act like that.

So, if Ron and her were so toxic as best friends, continuously hurting each other, how they will be good as a couple?

How they will be in a healthy relationship if they didn't even trust each other? More importantly if Ron didn't trust her, because her word was definitely not important to him.

The things she liked, he hated them, and vice versa.

And Hermione was not going to settle for that.

Even if they were in a war, and he was a person she used to like, it didn't mean she was head over heels for him or that he was 'it' for her.

And she told as much to Ron as well, hoping that he would understand and not get mad at her.

But she had to sigh mentally when just minutes later, Ron called her his girlfriend in front of Harry, Draco and his sidekicks.

Honestly, even if she hadn't told him that she didn't like him anymore, what gave him the right to call her his girlfriend?

Did he ask her to be his girlfriend?

Or did one kiss just meant that they were in a relationship now?

She had kissed Cormac because of the mistletoe as well, didn't she?

Did that mean she was in a relationship with him because even though they didn't discuss it, it was okay to assume that they were in a relationship?

No way in the freaking earth.

That was another thing she didn't like about Ron, being assumptious and not bothering to ask the other person for their thoughts.

One more thing was how he was just stereotyped about some things and people.

He literally told Harry in his first year when Draco was sorted into Slytherin that all bad wizards in the history were from Slytherin, implying that Slytherin was nothing but a house full of evils.

And because of that, and also from what Hagrid told him, Harry requested the sorting hat to not put him in Slytherin.

And he didn't want to save Draco and the other two Slytherins despite that they were just kids, just like them.

And didn't they say that every story had more than one side?

Whose to say that the Slytherins' side was not a forceful one, that people like Draco weren't forced to become Death Eaters as the blond wizard later admitted on top of the Astronomy Tower to Dumbledore?

Okay, back to present. Hermione soon collided into someone, and after helping the small wizard up, she ushered him towards one of the secret passages where she found Ginny.

Together, the two witches fought back to back, trying to take down as many Death Eaters as possible, and at the same time, trying to protect their own.

Hermione soon saw the other members of the Dumbledore's Army and quickly made their way towards them.

Ron and Harry found their way to them, and reconnecting with her best friends, Hermione cast a shield charm around them and headed towards somewhere else.

When Harry had decided to go to the Forbidden Forest, Hermione took a look at Ron and thought back to their conversation.

She should be his best friend now, he needed it the most.

Awkward conversations can wait until the Battle is over.

---------

"POTTER!" Draco yelled as he threw his wand to Harry, and ran back towards the castle, as the fight started between the Chosen One and Voldemort.

The Death Eaters, as their master fought with his arch nemesis, decided to fight with the rest of the Order members and the other people on the good side.

The people moved to the castle as did Harry and Voldemort, but while the two were moving in circles and talking, everyone else decided to protect their castle.

Which also happened to be their home.

As Draco slithered his way along the crowd, trying to find his parents, he heard a scream which haunted his nightmares.

Hermione Granger's scream.

Without thinking for even a second, the blond wizard picked up a discarded wand lying on the ground, making his way towards the direction from where the scream seemed to come.

Upon reaching there, he saw Bellatrix towering over Hermione, as the Gryffindor witch laid on the ground, clutching her leg and trying to reach her wand which had fallen miles away.

"This time, I am not going to just stand by and do nothing as you try to hurt her, Bellatrix." Draco muttered to himself. He silently made his way to them, and gestured Hermione to keep quiet as he stood directly behind his aunt.

But unfortunately for him, Bellatrix hadn't just trained in the dark arts to not notice anyone's presence.

Letting out a loud cackle, Bellatrix non verbally used Difindo on her nephew before he could even try to raise his wand.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" The Slytherin wizard screamed as cuts emerged on his left arm, where his dark mark was, and Hermione used that moment to kick Bellatrix's legs, causing the witch to stumble forwards.

As if they were a team, Draco, without wasting a second, followed Hermione's move and pushed his aunt on the ground, and picked up her wand.

But as the wand chooses its master, Bellatrix's wand, instead of helping Draco, backfired on him as he tried to use Flipendo on his aunt.

Draco flew back to the nearby pillar, and the impact caused a large gash to appear on his forehead.

Bellatrix immediately got up just as Draco did, but the witch was able to take her wand. "I will deal with you later, my dear nephew, but for now, I have this mudblood to deal with."

However, at that moment, Luna and Ginny made their way towards them while Draco moved towards Hermione and cast a shield charm around them as spells flew every way.

Seconds later, the killing curse missed Ginny by just centimeters and an angry Molly Weasley marched forwards, and pointed her wand at the most loyal follower of Lord Voldemort.

"NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!" Molly yelled as she dueled with Bellatrix and fired a very strong stupefy which was enough to destroy Bellatrix to pieces.

But the fight hadn't ended yet.

Draco was still clutching Hermione with his one hand as his other hand tried to held up the shield around them when he heard Harry tell Voldemort that the true master of the Elder Wand was none other than Draco Lucius Malfoy.

Hermione looked up at him with wide brown eyes and the blond wizard gulped, he didn't know what to say.

The moment when he had felt he was going to get killed, because there was no way that he would be able to kill Dumbledore, and a simple disarming spell had been enough to make him the master of the most powerful wand in this world.

Draco couldn't believe what he was hearing.

For almost a year, he had been the master of the Elder Wand, and he had no idea about that.

Perhaps if he would have known, then he would have been able to defeat Voldemort, if it weren't for that damn prophecy.

But he certainly would have been able to defeat Bellatrix.

Destroy his aunt, who had tortured the living daylights out of the girl he had unexpectedly fallen for ages ago.

Those times felt so long ago to Draco now.

Yes, he was a prat, who bullied others, but at least the witch who was currently in his arms and her friends had been happy.

Hermione had been certainly happy.

And Draco would do anything for that smile to appear on her face again.

Perhaps he should have joined the Order before the date of the task had come.

But how was Draco supposed to know that there was a chance for him?

A chance to be good.

He didn't know Snape was a spy for Dumbledore, otherwise the Slytherin blond wizard would have gone to his godfather for help.

But from the way he had acted, it looked as if Snape was a very loyal follower of the Noseless freak, and Draco wasn't interested in taking any risks, not when he knew that Voldemort could torture his parents in a blink of an eye, and do Salazar knows what to Draco himself.

And then Snape had told him the truth just a day before the Battle of Hogwarts, from him loving a muggle born witch, to killing Dumbledore because of the older wizard's request.

But unfortunately that had been too late for Draco to join the good side.

Not that anyone would have believed him, of course.

And the thought which frustrated him the most was that if Dumbledore had known everything about his task since the very beginning, why didn't he say anything to Draco?

Dumbledore could have called Draco to his office any time, and offered him help instead of doing it at the very last moment, when it was obvious that Draco wouldn't have been able to accept it.

Then there was the matter of how in earth Dumbledore would have protected his parents, because Draco was scared about their safety, not of his.

The only member of the Order among Voldemort's Army was Snape, and if he was going to be the Headmaster, then he would have to be in Hogwarts for most of the year, then there was no way that Dumbledore could have offered them protection.

Breaking him out of his memories, Hermione whimpered as she clutched his hand he had around her and pointed towards Draco's parents who were coming towards them.

At that moment, Draco couldn't help look at his parents proudly.

His mother, Narcissa, had lied straight to Voldemort's face.

And his father, Lucius, had defeated the Death Eaters that had tried to attack some of the children, and one of them had been Harry, as Draco had seen.

Draco was forced to look away when he heard Voldemort and Harry throwing spells at each other.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Expelliarmus!"

Everyone's eyes widened as Voldemort managed to overpower Harry and throw him backwards on his back.
