Rebecca's POV

Fergal and I were waiting for Dori Elizabeth at the back of the school. She had Mr.Heyman for Algebra last period and he was known to teach until the last possible second before the bell rang.
We watched as the football team ran from the locker room. Colby saw us and waved at us. We waved back and he smiled.
"So Bex," said Fergal as we watched the varsity cheerleaders run from the locker room.
" So Fergal, " I said.
"Where to first once we get to the mall?" asked Fergal .
I shrugged "I haven't got the foggiest clue," I said " A place that sells clothes? "
Fergal rolled his eyes "Duh," he said as Dori Elizabeth joined us.
" Ready? " she said.
"Hey Liz," we said.
" Again are you ready? " she said.
We nodded and set off across the back lawn of the school to a short cut to the mall.

Colby's POV

I watched as Rebecca, Fergal and Dori Elizabeth walk towards the trail that lead to the mall.
I sighed. I can't believe she agreed to a date?! I shook my head as I felt a stab of pain in my chest and then my head.
"Ouch!" I said as watch a football fall by my feet.
" Sorry Lopez, " said our quarterback Mike "Miz" Mizanin.
"A shout of heads up next time might help," I said .
Mike looks at me like I told him monkeys flew out of his ass "Dude I did. It isn't my fault the trio walking towards the trail distracted you," he said.
"What?" I said .
Mike pointed the football at Rebecca and her friends.
"Oh them," I said .
"Good cover Lopez," he said rolling his eyes " I think you might want to join practice because Coach Michaels looks like he is about to blow a gasket if you don't. "
I looked at the coach who indeed looked like he was about to blow something.

Rebecca's POV

We cut threw the trail and into the mall parking lot.As we entered the mall Fergal,Dori Elizabeth and I made a beeline for a hot pretzel because duh hot pretzel.
"Ok we got out pretzel," said Fergal " Now where too?Spencer's Gifts? "
"Isn't that mainly sex toys?" asked Dori Elizabeth.
"It is?!" asked Fergal blushing.
Dori Elizabeth nodded "Yes that is where my sister got her future sister in law's ummm things for her bachelorette party Ferg."
"Oh," said Fergal.
"Hot Topic?" I suggested .
"Ok," said Fergal as he laced his arm threw my arm.
We laughed as we skipped to Hot Topic.

Colby's POV

Practice was tough but we made it threw. The only bad part was the new player Coach Michaels welcomed. It was non other than Joe! Ugh so now he is my teammate!
I am getting dressed when I hear my name being called.
"Colby?"
I looked up and there stood Joe.
"Yes?" I said as I tied my sneakers.
"Can I ask you a question?" he asked.
"You just did," I said tying my other shoe .
He laughed "Good one," he said .
I rolled my eyes "So are you going to ask the question or are we just going to stand here?"
Joe laughed "Umm you're friends with Rebecca Quin right?"
" Best Friends, " I said shrugging my jacket on.
"What is her favorite flower?" he asked.
"Sunflower and before you ask she loves mint chocolate," I said.
"Thanks," said Joe smacking my shoulder.
I rubbed my shoulder where he hit me. He can hit hard.
"You're welcome," I said "Are we done?I have to go pick Bex up at the mall."
"Can I come?" he asked.
"I have to drive her friends home too. My car can only hold four people," I said .
"Oh okay," he said " Well I'll see you around Colby, " he smiled and turned.
"Joe wait," I said .
He turned "Yeah?" he said .
"Call me Lopez," I said .
"Oh yeah sure. See you around Lopez," he said .
I watched him leave and as I was getting ready to leave Jonathan and Claudio stopped me.
"Hey Lopez," said Jonathan .
"What Jon," I said sighing.
"Are you coming to Renee's party on Friday," he asked .
"I guess," I said " Why? "
"No reason," smirked Jonathan .
"Can I go now?" I ask.
Jonathan and Claudio moved aside.
I rolled my eyes when I had passed them.

Rebecca's POV

"Bex!" said Fergal .
"What?" I ask as we sat at the food court.
"Bex you're going to give him a heart attack on Friday!" he said.
"Who? Joe?" I ask .
Fergal nodded "Yeah who else did you think I meant?He is after all the one you're going out with."
"Well I hope I don't," I said .
"That outfit we got says otherwise," he said with a smirk .
I rolled my eyes "Ferg stop!" I said as Colby slid in next to me and took a fry.
" So did you get anything? " asked Colby.
"Yeah," I said.
"A killer outfit for Friday," said Fergal with a s smile.
"Ferg!" said Dori Elizabeth.
"What? It's true!!" he said .
"So can I see it?" asked Colby.
"Yeah Friday," I said .
"Tease," said Colby a smirk on his lips.
" Arse, " I said to him with a smirk on my lips.

Narrator's POV

Dori Elizabeth and Fergal exchanged looks. Dori Elizabeth smiled and leaned over to Fergal.
"To bad he didn't have the balls to ask her out," she whispers to Fergal .
Fergal nodded "Agreed."
