"It's them or us! We have been the only ones who cared about each other, who know each other. We're a family.  We can't let people know everything.  You can't leave me.. Bart!"

The two twins had been spotted all over, causing trouble, stealing, avoiding authority and attention. One was hyper, apologetic,  kind, naive, and genuinely a good impulsive kid. The other was snarky, intelligent, mature, meticulous and scared. The speedsters looked so much alike, almost never letting go but there was a wedge between them. And that led them to this moment.

Bart lead you here, letting himself and Thad being apprehended. ." I don't know which one of us is older. We've survived with each other but that's not living.. That's not something I want."  He was open, spilling every detail. Thad however had to be dragged to a separate room snapping at first. But as Bart looked away it became whispers.

"You turned the only one I had.. You turned him against me.  My brother.. Impulse and Inerita.. Me and him forever.  He needs me!" It was clear he was actually that one. That he was unhealthy holding on to Bart. Needing him, slightly trying to coax and manipulate him. He was the one petrified with change, scared of letting others in. Assuming Bart is happier with strangers, others that he hated him. That he was weak and didn't fight enough. " YOU'VE WON! won..." He broke down slightly staring at the table before speeding to the wall almost clawing at it. Hoping there would a sound, a signal. He pulled away when you tried to comfort him.
