Hello, all you wonderful readers!

It's been 13 years since I began writing Hadley and Archer's story. Even though it's now been traditionally published with a movie in the works (omg!) it's still so surreal to revisit where it all started. The love these characters get after all this time means so much to me and it's amazing seeing new readers still discovering their story.

IN 27 DAYS really never strays far from my thoughts, but I wasn't expecting to find myself now suddenly ready to share Archer's perspective of the story, but -- surprise! That's what we're doing. I spent the last year writing this little project and received permission to share it here, so I am incredibly excited to start posting again.

To hopefully avoid any confusion, you'll want to know that this story follows the timeline of the published version of IN 27 DAYS. Some of the scenes/dialogue may look familiar to you, but there is plenty of new content as well, I promise.

My plan is to post one chapter every Friday, beginning tomorrow, 12/6/24.

So, with all this being said, please keep in mind the following:

This story is from the prospective of a character who is actively suicidal and some of the themes explored (incl. thoughts of self-harm, generational trauma, past domestic violence / child abuse) may be difficult to read about.

If it's in your best interest not to continue on with Archer's story, that is perfectly fine! Please look after yourself.
