emptiness
Aryan laid his head down, he hated the emptiness of the bed, the uncomfortable pillow he laid upon. His eyes stayed wide open as he moved around in the covers trying to get comfortable. The coldness of the room always found its way under the covers, directly to Aryan. He shivered, feeling his eyes starting to water as he tried to remember the warmth that once was. He longed for warmth once again.
It had been a week and a half since Imlie had disappeared, Aryan had spent every moment he could searching for her, and still nothing. He hated being in their room, he felt trapped, Aryan wanted nothing more than to be looking for Imlie. The bed felt uneven and lumpy, with random depressions that Aryan couldn't seem to fit into.
Aryan's head slipped off the pillow and fell onto the mattress. He couldn't stand it anymore, the cold, the uneven bed, the uncomfortable pillow, it was too much for Aryan to handle. He couldn't stop thinking about Imlie, wondering what awful things must be happening to her.
Aryan sobbed.
Tears streamed down his face. He yelled up at the ceiling, his words indecipherable. He clenched his eyes shut tightly, but it didn't stop the tears.
He opened his eyes again looking at the spot where Imlie should be, and he prayed, he prayed to Imlie.
"I miss you."
