So, I recently made a one-shot on Valentine's Day, and it's November and Halloween just recently ended so...... A Halloween one-shot for you! I don't know why I did a Valentine's Day one-shot in the middle of October. Also, The Potatoes are 19, Nikita and Sheela are 17, and Aiden and Brynne are 20.

Halloween.

Ah, yes.

Such a fun time of year.

So much CANDY.

That's what it was like every year, but now that Aru's 19, she's apparently "too old" for trick or treating. Not cool. So not cool.

And even worse.

There's a DANCE in the Otherworld!

And Aru is being forced to go!

Again, so not cool.

At least it's a costume ball?

Yeah, that barely makes it better.

Aru was currently in her room, decided whether or not to climb out of her bedroom window and run away, or actually wear the Scarlet Witch costume she had gotten for something as useless as a costume ball.

Even if I ran away, someone (Hi, mom) would catch me and force me to go Aru grudgingly admitted in her head.

Reluctantly, she pulled on her costume and styled her hair to somewhat match Wanda's. She didn't have Wanda's crown-ish thing. (A/N: SPOILER FOR MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS: Wanda died! This annoys and saddens me! 😭😭😭😭).

The potatoes were waiting for her downstairs.

Mini was dressed as Velma from Scooby-Doo.

Brynne was She-Hulk.

The twins were dressed up as black widow (Nikita) and Yelena (A/N: If you don't know her, you're not a real marvel fan) (Sheela).

Rudy was dressed as.... well, the scales on his head were showing, and he was wearing a suit with A LOT of blue and green sequins on it, so we're going for a snake-ish person-ish person?

Aiden was Doctor Strange.

Overall, they all had pretty good outfits.

There was still an hour till they had to go to the Night Bazaar, so they decided to play MONOPOLY.

As soon as Aru got the game from the closet, she said "Who's ready to play the most TRUST-BREAKING GAME IN THE WORLD?!?!?!".

Aiden facepalmed "Why are you like this Shah?".

Aru threw on a lop-sided grin as she said "Because I am."

"Are you two done flirting, because I CALL TOP HAT" Brynne shouted.

"LUCKY DUCK" Aru shouted after her, not even noticing how she teased her and Aiden before as they both grabbed their pieces and slammed them on the board. Aiden however, noticed very much, and wouldn't look away from whatever he was doing with Shadowfax.

They all grabbed their pieces. Sheela decided to sit out, Nikita followed her twin, and Rudy didn't even know how to play.

Mini somehow managed to grab both electric company and water works! When Aru landed on New York Avenue and practically screamed "YEAH", as New York Avenue was her winning property (A/N: It's mine. 😂 It's practically OP when you get a hotel on it, and house are C-H-E-A-P!).

Houses were practically gone but were being generously donated as people got hotels.

BAM! Aru got a double. Then again. Then again. Aru said some words under her breath that the author is generously NOT writing here.

Aru put her duck in jail, then paid Nikita 50 dollars to get out. Nikita was being banker at the time, her and Sheela were switching.

BAM! "YES!" Aru screamed. Aiden had just landed on New York Avenue! Aru. Had. A. Hotel.

The Daughter of Indra held out her hand to Aiden, as Aiden reluctantly gave $1000 (A/N: Like I said. OP!).

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The alarm went off. The competitors counted their money and how much their properties were worth.

Mini: $6834

Aiden: $7059

Brynne: $6396

Aru: $7305

(A/N: Don't ask why the amounts are so high, I randomly typed it in).

"HAHAHAHAHA I AM VICTORIOUS" Aru shouted.

"You know, screaming and shouting that much can make your vocal cords brake, making you mute, and then seeing your stubbornness, you're going to continue trying to talk, so your then going to loose your breath, and then choke and then eventually-" Mini got cut off.

"Die?" Everyone said.

"I was going to say suffocate, but then yeah, die,".

(A/N: I don't even know if that was true, I'm not a doctor 😂)

"Really though, seeing my stubbornness I'm going to continue talking? Really Mini? Really?" Aru asked.

"What? It's necessary to assess all possible events," Mini replied.

"Come on, we're going to be late unless we go now," Nikita pointed out.

Everyone got up to go to Greg. They went through the portal to the Night Bazaar.

It was filled with decorations and people in place of the stalls and displays that usually filled the place. In the middle of the Bazaar, there was a dance floor in which people were, obviously, dancing.

It was very loud.

Brynne went over to hog the snack table, Aiden went somewhere to take pictures, and the others just went somewhere else because the author doesn't have an imagination.

Aru decided to sit in a chair near the dance floor. Brynne came over with a bunch of snacks as she and Aru feasted on them.

Soon they were done, so Aru had to get more snacks. She went over to the snack table and started piling things onto plates.

She was about to go back to Brynne when she felt a tap to the shoulder. She turned Vajra into a lightning bolt and spun around to face the victim.

"Oh-, WIFEY, don't sneak up on me like that!"

Aiden rolled his eyes at the nickname.

"I just came to ask you somethin-"

"Ask later, I gotta get these to Brynne,"

"But-"

"Just let me get these to Brynne, I'll come right back,"

Aiden waited. It felt like more than an hour until Aru came back.

"So, what did you wanna ask me?"

"Well, I was wondering if you would want to dance with me...." Aiden said, scratching the back of his neck.

Aru's eyes widened. She had not expected that, out of all the requests he could have made.

"If you don't want to that's completely fine, I could jus-"

"I'll do it. Uh-, I mean I'll dance with you," Aru stammered.

Aiden smiled. He grabbed her hand as he led her through the crowd of people to the dance floor. The whole time, Aru was blushing, and worrying if her hand was sweating.

Right as they got to the dance floor, a slow dance song started playing.

Why must my life be like this? Aru thought.

"What do you mean?" Aiden asked.

Oh gods. Aru had done that thing where her inside voice became her outside voice.

"Oh-, um-, nothing really, just I don't know how to dance," Aru stammered as she tried to find an excuse. It wasn't really lying; she really couldn't dance.

"It's fine, I'll teach you," Aiden said smiling as he grabbed her hand again and dragged her to the dance floor.

"Here, you put this hand on my shoulder, and we both hold each other's hand over here," Aiden instructed as he moved Aru's hands. Aru let him do it, as she was to busy trying to control her blush. Aiden was blushing too, but was determined to focus on helping the daughter of Indra.

Soon they were in position and started dancing to the music. Aru surprised only stepped on Aiden's toes only twice before she asked "How do you know how to do this, Acharya?"

"Mom made me take a class during middle school, I somehow still remember it,"

Aru chuckled as she looked up at Aiden. They stared into each others eyes. The song ended and the two separated.

They walked off the dance floor and walked around the Night Bazaar. They talked about random stuff, like two perfectly normal teenagers/adults.

Aru bit her lip as she intertwined her and Aiden's pinky. He didn't seem to mind. A few seconds later, Aiden intertwined both their hands.

Blush crept up both of their cheeks as they continued walking. Suddenly, Aru stopped.

"I've been wanting to tell you something," she said.

"What?" Aiden asked.

"Well, this,"

Aru leaned up towards Aiden and kissed him. She backed up almost immediately and turned around to run away. Aiden stood there for a second, trying to process what just happened, before running after Aru.

He caught up to her and grabbed her wrist to turn her around. Aru looked at the ground as she tried to escape Aiden's grip on her wrist. Aiden lifted her chin up using his other hand.

"I'm sorry-, you probably like Kara or someone and I like you bu-"

Aru was cut off. Aiden had kissed her. She was wide eyed for a second before melting into the kiss and putting her arms around Aiden's neck, as Aiden wrapped his arms around her waist. It seemed like forever before the two broke apart.

"I like you too Shah"

Maybe this dance wasn't so bad after all.
