The closest I'll get to doing a "Meet the Artist" thing

This is essentially what I look like on my best days.

I'll tell you some stuff about me and some art tips I have

• you see that odd bump on my nose. I have that in real life.

• I always have messy hair.

• I don't like to draw myself, mostly my face, because I always make it look really idealistic.

• I always have bags under my eyes.

• My life is pretty much an open book.

• This is the original picture

I flipped the image a few times to fix the obvious anatomy problems, waited an hour to unblind myself from the mistakes, came back to this, realized how much I missed and edited it in ibisPaint to fix it.
I'm shocked that I didn't realize these mistakes sooner.

• I keep a pack of sticky notes in my pocket for when I need to write a note to myself.

• art tip: if you put shading AND lighting in a drawing, it looks MUCH better.

• My cartoony style mostly comes from the first few episodes of KKHTA

• art tip: Do dynamic poses with a good line of motion, or it will look stiff. If stiff's what you're going for, fine, but at least draw the character leaning to the side if they're standing straight. Ex:

This one is from KKHTA Part 19 (8/9)

• art tip: distinguish between your character and the background.
If the character is green, and the background is too, make a way to distinguish them from each other, like adding a light, darker/lighter (depends on the background) rim around parts of the character or something.
Ex:

• art tip: Make your shading noticeable, and if it's cell shading, it will most likely HAVE to be neatly done or it'll look bad.

• art tip: You can make lines less shaky by doing quick motions instead of carefully trying to trace your sketch.

• art tip: If you want a digital art program, don't use a freemiun (free until you pay), use an open source program because it has all of those tools and more for no money.
I recommend FireAlpaca.
I used it for most of my best drawings.

Any questions about anything?
