Jeongguk view

"Yan Ximen. Sucks seeing you here" jeongguk mused as he cocked his head to the side, hands stuffed in his pocket unpolitely as taehyung shyed away and looked curious at Ximen.

"jeon jeongguk. What a coincidence, i was just heading over to the sandwhich shop across the street. I've never tried it, maybe you and uh your friend here could tell me what its like?" Ximen sarcasticly said as he looked at taehyung, a playful glint in his eyes.

Taehyung thought the male was acting a bit weird, so out of instinct he hid behind jeongguk, close to his back.

Jeongguks heart beating fast at the movement.

The said male glanced shortly behind him at taehyung, giving him a short smile until he turned to face Ximen, glaring hard at the male.

"the sandwhiches are amazing, i recommend the egg and crab" jeongguk pressed his lips together, his eyebrows raised as he looked at Ximen with daring eyes.

"oh? And what about your friend?" Ximen spoke, his gaze fixed on taehyung who looked down at the pavement whispering "same sandwhich" ever so quietly.

"he's not much of a talker is he jeon?" Ximen tutted, looking at jeongguk for a brief second until he fixed his gaze on taehyung.

"whats your name?" Ximen asked even though he knew the males name already.

"tae-taehyung" The male stuttered, fidgeting with his fingers as he mentally begged jeongguk to speak.

"and what is it that you do in the office?" Ximen dared to say. Jeongguk glared hard at the male, his hands clenching into fists as they were now out of his pockets. Taehyung noticed this, he placed his hands on top of jeongguks, slowly unfisting them.

Jeongguks heart missed a beat.

Taehyung was shocked at his own action.

When jeongguk calmed down, he closed his eyes for a quick second, sighing as he looked at Ximen with a stern stare.

"move aside will you? I need to go do my job as a CEO"  jeongguk smirked proudly as he knew Ximen always wanted to take over his position. And become CEO.

"sure, sure, go ahead, i'll go eat that crab sandwhich you recomended" Ximen said through a strained smile, clearly irritated.

"fucktard" jeongguk muttered under his breath as he grabbed taehyungs hand, leading him inside.

"i'll find out who exactly you are soon enough taehyung" Ximen said to himself, looking in the direction jeongguk and taehyung had left.

Taehyung view

"jeongguk? are you okay?" taehyung asked quietly as he noticed the males clenched jaw. Jeongguk let go of taehyungs hand reluctantly, staring intently at the male until he decided to speak.

"not a word to anyone about what you do here okay?" jeongguk ordered sternly as he kept staring at taehyung who shivered from the intense gaze.

"y-yes, of course" taehyung agreed immedietly, biting his lip as  silence overtook them.

"great. You may go" jeongguk nodded his head, no more words spoken as taehyung smiled shortly and left the room.

Taehyung wanted to start working on jeongguks portrait straight away, however he didnt want to disturb the males work incase he got mad at him.

Ximen happened to notice taehyungs discomfort (they were both in the lounge room) and went up to him with a smirk on his face.

"you seem stressed. Whats wrong?" Ximen said sitting down next to taehyung, resting his head upon his hand.

"oh n-nothing, it's fine" taehyung slightly chuckled awkwardly, wanting to get away from Ximen as he creeped him out.

"oh c'mon, i can help" Ximen kept smiling at taehyung, not taking his eyes off him.

Taehyung decided to tell him he needed to see jeongguk, obviously not telling him what for.

"he wont get mad at all. Im sure. You can go." Ximen lied to taehyung. Jeongguk hated whenever Anyone interrupted his meetings. Ximen thought for sure taehyung would leave after he got told off by jeongguk.

"really?  Okay, well thank you" taehyung smiled shortly, standing up to go to jeongguk, leaving Ximen smirking at the retreating figure of taehyung.

Jeongguk view

Jeongguk was sitting all boss like in his chair that was at the head of the table. They were currently discussing about the new game jeongguk desgined. It was going well until the male heard a knock on the door causing him to growl inhumanly.

"who dares to interrupt my meeting?" jeongguk yelled slightly, banging his fist on the table. But his eyes softened (surprisingly to him) as soon as a brunette poked his chubby face through the door, making him look like a small child.

"taehyung" jeongguk breathed out as if he was calming himself down in order not to shout at the male. Something just told him to not raise his voice at the other. He weirdly didnt like the idea of shouting at taehyung.

Taehyung smiled apologetically with red cheeks. He walked in, taking slow steps towards jeongguk and the male wanted nothing more than to just grab the male and pull him towards him. But obviously, he couldnt.

"uh s-sorry to bother y-you but i k-kinda need y-you? For the uhm p-portrait. But uh you're in a m-meeting so i'll g-go" taehyung stuttered embarrassed, he hated how all eyes were on him.

"no. This meeting is done" jeongguk confirmed with a sharp voice, his eyes stern as he silently ordered the males to leave.

"i'm all yours" jeongguk smirked, leaning back in his chair as he draped one leg over the other.

"oh well we uh need to go into my office for this..."  Taehyung muttered quietly, biting on his lip as he looked at jeongguk with raised brows.

"okay" is all jeongguk said, getting up and walking towards the door. He stopped and turned around once he realised taehyung was standing in the same place. "you coming tae?" jeongguk nicknamed taehyung, a deep blush coating the males cheeks as he ran behind jeongguk.

Jeongguk chuckled slightly, walking towards taehyungs office seating himself down on the sofa.

Taehyung shyly walked over to grab the large canvas, placing it on the easel telling jeongguk to sit up so he could start on the portrait.

"is that position comfortable gguk?" taehyung said, the nickname slipping out accidently causing him to slap a hand over his mouth, looking at jeongguk with wide eyes.

Jeongguk grinned, like actually grinned showing his bunny teeth at the nickname. On seeing jeongguks bunny teeth taehyung also smiled, his boxy smile on display for the other.

"Do you  like this position taehyung?" jeongguk asked,  a hint of amusement within his tone, his voice deep.

"u-uh yeah" The male agreed, his cheeks beyond the colour red as he fiddled with the paints and brushes.

"Do you think i look handsome?" jeongguk asked, now teasing the other as a cocky smirk was visible on his face. Part of him genuinely wanted to know what taehyungs answer would be.

"w-what?" taehyung blurted out, too flustered with jeongguk looking directly at him.

"i dont need to ask again" jeongguks voice was dark, also deep as he continued to stare intently at the younger.

Taehyungs eyes were looking anywhere but at jeongguk. He breathed out answering the male, telling him what he wanted to hear. Taehyung wasnt lying when he said:

"yes. You look very handsome gguk"
