It has been a week and a half since I started learning to use my powers from hades and persephone. They come and visit me all the time helping me when I need it and also to train me. I have been looking forward to today since I started staying with my mum. Today I'm going hunting with zoe. I'm so happy and excited. When it came to 6 am I have already been up for half an hour. I run into zoe's tent and wake her up. Once she sees that it's me she jumps out of bed and gets ready. I go and stand out side her tent. I can't believe I get to go hunting today. I have been begging my mum for a while but she kept saying no but she finally said yes since I was getting better with my weapons. When zoe leaves her tent we run further I to the woods. After a while she stops.
"Ok what do you see?" She asks.
"Well there are some rabbits, stags, hears and bears." I told her.
"Ok I want you." But suddenly she gets cought in a golden net and goes up in to a tall tree.
"ZOE." I screamed up to her. That's when I heard howling.
"Amy you need to run and leave me." She told me.
"I'm not leaving you." So I walk up to the tree getting ready to climb it when suddenly wolf's came running out of the woods and stopped surrounding me. I took a deep breath. When i looked i saw a werewolf and i realised that it is Lycaon. My eyes open wide. What am I going to do. I need to save zoe but my mum won't be here to help me. I look around and realised that I am in so much danger.
"Well well well who do we have here a hunter of Artemis and a girl who smells a lot like artemis." He said getting closer and closer to me. I had to hold my breath to steady my breathing.
"Get away from her." Zoe shouted. I heard some of the werewolf growl at her. I started going to my silver dagger I always have on me.
"Oh so it's true artemis has a daughter." I was scared out of my mind. "We can kill you like she has done to many of my kind or take you with us make you ours." He said. By now he is behind me his breath Sending a cold shiver down my spine. I the spun around and tried to stab him but he was to far away and that's when the werewolfs charged at me. I concentrated on the shadows and I felt the earthquake beneath my feet when a long crack split open and skeletons came from the ground.
"Hold them of." I ordered. The skeletons charged in to battle. I looked at zoe who looked shocked at the fight. So I started to climb the tree to get to her. But unfortunately I didn't get far when I felt something grab hold of my leg and throw me across the woods. When I opened my eyes I realised that I was In open space so I can't shadow travel to safety. I then felt myself get kicked I the stomach which made me gasp in pain. I then felt a hand go around my neck and squeezed cutting of my air. "Let me go." I gasped. I screamed in my head hopeing my mum or dad will hear me. That's when something pounced on to Lycaon and he went flying away from me. When I looked standing there infront of me was a werewolf that is younger then the others.
"Stay away from her." The young wolf said and the they started fight. I was able to stand up. Just in time to see the wolf get thrown in to a tree. When he landed he tried to get up but he just fell back o to the floor.
"You call yourself my son. How stupid of you." He spat. That's when he turned to me. "You are coming with me after I deal with this lame of an excuse of a son." He said getting closer to the wolf. I don't now why but I felt like I have to protect him at all times. So I ran at lycaon and stated fight him until he throw me into the tree next to the wolf. I pulled myself to the wolf and put my arms around him protecting him the best i can. But just then a silver arrow hit lycaon in the arm. That's when I saw my mum and sisters and they all looked mad.
"Keep my son he is not my child no more." Lycaon then looked at me. "I will get you daughter of artimes." And then they ran of. I tried to stand up but I couldn't.
"Amy." My mum screamed running up to me. She then hugged me.
"Where's zoe?" I asked. But then I saw her. I started having a coughing fit. I put my hand to my mouth and I felt so ethical g wet where I looked I saw blood.
"We need to get to olympus." My mum said.
"But." Zoe started.
"I don't care Amy needs apollo." And with that we all closed our eyes.
