A woman, around forty years old, took off the virtual reality headset. She sighed.

“See? Just what I told you,” a deep male voice said, “A.I. can not be trusted with the load of the whole earth.”

“I thought the fundamental rules will keep it from killing humans.”

The man laughed, “Keep it from killing humans? Oh no,” footsteps sounded and moments later, the woman saw him standing in front of her. While she sat on a chair, “No. What does the rule say? ‘All the decisions and actions must be taken to favour humankind.’ It does not say that humans can't be killed.”

“Then why don't we change the rule?”

“Terrorists, drug dealers, rapists are also humans, Mrs. Carter.”

She did not say anything then. One minute passed. Then two, three…

“So we must stop Project A.I.?” She asks.

He takes in a breath, “Yes. We also must ensure the safety of Nature. AI was right about this. We are failing to maintain the balance.”

“Yes. Yes we must.”
