'Impact of Social Networking sites on society'
Social Networking Sites are being accused of ruining human interactions and moulding them into cyber robots. Are Social Newtorking Sites really harmful, inspite of all the ease they have created?
First considering the mammoth ammount of convenience offered by these Social Sites, it still cannot be denied that social media has completely altered humans. From being healthy and outgoing, beings are stuck with gadgets, gossiping the polls via the internet. Moreover, social media provides useless stress. Checking you feed and the urge of getting updated to the world causes a man to suffer from mental disorder. Likewise, social networks have taken complete commands over relations. When children used to cuddle in blankets and force their grandmother to tell them her early life stories, today teenagers even ignore eye contact with parents. The once cordial relations have been deteriorated by the advent of Social Networking Sites like Facebook and Twitter. Teenages rely on e-pals in order to help them solve a mathematic equation or scribble an article. This causes a great harm to their academic and extra-curricular activities. Furthermore, children stick away from outdoor games too. They prefer text messaging and posting over their health. Social media has even ruined a parent's love for children. Parents now have social accounts and they are booked by colleagues via the internet 24/7. What's more is that this had eventually influenced over the society. Like this, a society loses it's value, status and originality. It transforms into a cyber town where everyone is busy over himself.
Hence, Social Media Sites have not only ruined a man's profile but his thinking and working skills too.
