1960

I came to Lvov, one of the biggest cities of Poland and it was rather weird.
After we came out from the train we saw police on the street arresting big group of people with banners saying "we want freedom!".
I tried to ignore it and just rented bike to see around the city,
I saw happy people playing local music on accordions, they were Polish , Ukrainians or Jewish, it gaved city it's own personality.
Lvov is not city of one nation or ethnic group.
After a while I stopped next to the statue of defenders of Lvov that was built on 20th anniversary of Lvov voivodeship. I readed what was written on a sign next to it and it was "City of Lvov pays respect for all young people who died for it durning polish-soviet and polish-ukrainian war".
Entire city was really crowded but I saw less Ukrainians than last year and now I know why, police officers were taking out 2 adults and group of children from one building and I heard one of the adults saying "You can't just arrest us for teaching kids our native language!" But police officers didn't listened and pushed one women into police car locking it when she was in.
After an hour I left bike and came to eat something in a restaurant, i ordered mashed potatoes and steak that didn't tasted so bad for the low price.
When I was taking a walk to hotel I saw protesting people holding banners saying that they want free elections , end of discrimination and free of speech.
Police officers where trying to arrest people and started beating some with nightsticks.
I tried to run into hotel to not get beaten and I got keys to my room and hidden in it because Poland was clearly too dangerous now.

Welp first chapter hope I can write more later
