HELLO. 

I was sick for two days last week and was out of school for two days. I am better now, though, so yay! 

It gave me time to do some art and work on some lovely lore for you people.

So now I shall show you the art first. 

First, we have the Kingdom of Connacht! 

This is where I can give you some cool historical facts and also headcanon drops! 

Basically, the context is connected to this guy called St. Brendan the Navigator. Who is he? Well, you see, Brendan and some fellow monks wanted to find the Promised Land (not that one), aka the Land of Saints, which is basically Tir an nOg. This place in mythology was stated to be a land in the west where the Fae lived and heroes visited on quests. There is more about it but you can look more into it if you want to search it up. Anyway, so Brendan set sail and took a journal with him and wrote down the things he and his crew saw. In his writings, he talked about a land that was full of sheep, a land that had ice, lava, and apparently very strange noises, a land that was made of ice, and also something that sounded like one of the islands in the Caribbean. He also wrote about some of things they saw in the sea which was cool. This leads some people to believe he may have been the first to "discover" the new world. Of course, though, it depends on what you think!

So what is the headcanon here? Well, the headcanon I have here is that Connacht kinda wanted to see if she could find Tir a nOg like Brendan and took some of her (totally not favorite) cities with her as she chose to go on a little journey. Also yes she brought a journal with her because yes. 

I thought it would be a cool headcanon, and it fits in nicely with my Kingdom of Connacht lore. But just so you know, the other Irish kingdoms kinda thought she was a little crazy. 

Hope you liked that headcanon and I hope it made complete sense ;-;

Maybe I will do a little lore story with Connacht revolving around this one day..

Dear Ormond,

I feel it has been a while since we have chatted hasn't it? It feels like only yesterday Father passed and you, Desmond, and I, split his kingdom. Strange huh? Time can really fly by.

I still remember us bickering over what to do after he died. Connacht told us to just split the kingdom, which we did. 

You were never excited though about it unlike me and Desmond. 

I guess, to a degree, you were correct not to be excited. So far, ruling a kingdom and being a Countryhuman in general has been grinding and draining. Personally, I wish I could go take a break. Though, I don't know if that's possible.

Still doesn't stop me from wishing, though.

Other than that I thought it would be good to give you an update since you haven't heard anything recently, (I assume at least.)

Lordship is still allied with England. I can't tell if she is sincere in the alliance or if instead she is just being manipulated.

I'd like to assume the latter but in reality no one can tell. 

No battles have occurred as of late. Just intimidation and such. Probably for the best, though. 

I think I am going to stop talking about this now since it's boring.

But you know what's cool?

I finally managed to tame a wolf like I told you and Desmond one day I would so ha! Who is the wrong one now?! You two should've never doubted me! Though, I hope it wasn't one of Osraige's wolves, or he might take it. That would suck. You know how he is about his wolves.

Clonroad also screamed when they saw the wolf. I don't blame them, but Finn (that's the wolf's name by the way) is a good boy.

Funnily enough, I found out one of the names Osraige gave one of his wolves is apparently Wolfe. I guess he ran out of ideas. But it's a good name, nevertheless.

If I remember correctly, there is also Alpha (apparently Lordship of Ireland named that one), Beta, Joseph, Bark, Semi, Ark, Rome, Ottoman (I don't know how he came up with this one), Tape Dispenser (again don't know what this is nor how he came up with it) and Asteroid Destroyer. I think I may be forgetting some. 

Like I said earlier, I hope this isn't one of his wolves because then I lose Finn. But if it is, maybe I could bargain with him. I am sure Osraige would accept it. 

After I brought it, though, Clonroad started ranting about how we couldn't possibly keep a wolf since wolves need tons of meat. He also started saying that he didn't know where to keep the thing along with some other stuff, which I forget now because I honestly wasn't paying attention to him.

It soon escalated to a small argument, but I won. Clonroad, though, is very clear that he doesn't like the fact that there is now a wolf living in the house. I'd love to imagine Father's reaction, actually. He'd either be super concerned, or he wouldn't care. Maybe he would have a different reaction. We won't know now I guess.

I don't really care for Clonroad's opinion though. Again, Finn is a great boy! He's done absolutely nothing wrong so far. Well, actually, he did steal some food from Clonroad, but it was funny, so he didn't get in trouble. I may have to make sure that doesn't happen again, though, since I don't want it becoming a habit.

Hm.

Now I am trying to think about what else I should write..

Oh! We still haven't found Tara.

We were still speaking when Tara first vanished. The other kingdoms have tried searching for her but so far nothing. It's like she didn't even exist to begin with. Iar Connacht and I created a theory that maybe she's serving the Lordship, but that kind of fell apart once I managed to talk to her. She hasn't seen Tara either.

At this rate, I don't think we will find Tara ever again.

I should probably say why I am writing this letter now. I have put off my reasoning long enough. I thought it had been a while since we last spoke. I still miss you, and so does Desmond. He still feels guilty about what happened.

Not just what we kept from you, but also the incident. I know you have every right to be mad at him and I guess me as well, but if you could just send a sign to him or something it might comfort him a little.

He hasn't been the same since the accident. He won't even talk to me now.

I would never say this to his face since I know he would punch me for saying it, but he's becoming like father, distant and more.. what's the word..

Depressed? I am not sure if that's the right word to describe it, but I guess you know what I mean. You know how our father was—or at least how we knew him because, technically, we never saw the other side of him. I sometimes question what could've been if he actually acted like a dad. 

I remember Cork telling me how Father used to be—very funny and more energetic—kind of like Desmond was prior to the accident. Again, I would never say it to his face, but I think he is more like Father than he or I realized.

Sorry I got off track. You know me well enough to know by now that's just what I do.

Anyway, just please in some way help Desmond. He needs it. But also, you deserve an apology. I didn't get to give you one before everything happened. I am so sorry Ormond. I would have told you the truth but Desmond made me promise not to.

I didn't want to break his trust, but now, I realize I broke yours in an attempt to save another.

I know it's too late to apologize. But I do hope that if you read this, you can forgive me. Realistically though, I know you probably can't. But even still I hope you do. I am so sorry Ormond.

For everything. For not telling you the truth, not being there for you, and just being an awful sister.

I hope to see you soon. Take care, and again, please show Desmond that it wasn't his fault. He won't listen to me, so I feel only you can convince him.
