Title.

Hi friends.

SEPTEMBER IS ALMOST OVER WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I have special plans for October, which include some possible lore...

uhhh anyway-

I am going to give y'all the art I know you deserve now.

First.

Colony of New Haven!

This is a drawing I tried doing, scrapped because I hated it, and then went back to try it again.

I take an interest in the colonies that no longer exist.

New Haven is just a tad bit annoyed by the noise because she is trying to pray totally not for any reason.

Unless you noticed something I added which may or may not be important.

hehe.

Right, so I may draw these colonies because I find them interesting.

We shall see, though.

Colony of Acadia! WHO WAS VERY ANNOYING TO DRAW >:(((

Stars.

I forgot why I started drawing Acadia, but I believe it was related to the colony thing I mentioned earlier.

Also, I believe I was looking into the Louisiana Colony because I was looking into the Louisiana Purchase.

While researching, I realized how many countries have, in fact, sold land to the USA. I mean, we have Louisiana in 1803, Florida in 1819, Alaska in 1867, and also the U.S. Virgin Islands in 1917. Kinda crazy.

What was I talking about again?

Oh yeah, Acadia. I just have to say I do kind of like the flag of Acadia, it's cool :)

She is reaching for the stars because well, she likes stars.

Someone wanted a Portuguese Empire drawing, so a Portuguese Empire drawing you reicieve.

He is just holding all his colonies (most of whom I extracted from Wikipedia)

The colonies: State of Brazil, Portuguese Angola, Portuguese Mozambique, Portuguese Guinea, Cape Verde (couldn't find the colony name), Portuguese Sao Tome and Principe, Portuguese Timor, Portuguese Macau, Portuguese Ceylon, and State of India (Portuguese India)

That was a lot of typing..

Anyway, I did enjoy drawing his uniform and the balls. Especially the balls. Have I mentioned that I like balls?

They are amazing.

You know what I also like?

Angst.

By now you probably know where this is going.

ANYWAYYY HERE IS YOUR NEXT LOVELY DRAWINGG

East Bréifne is on the left, and the Kingdom of Bréifne is on the right.

Remember when I drew a wholesome little picture of them for Mother's Day?

Hehe.

This is how bad their relationship came to in the end.

This is actually the first time I drew a death of a CH so yayyyyy?

This happened at the Battle of Magh Slécht.

Kingdom of Connacht and also another CH were there, but I didn't feel like drawing them, so yeah. Just pretend they are off fighting each other somewhere else.

Does East feel guilty at all?

On a more happier note,

Republic of Yucatan because it is forgotten.

I have nothing much to say except that drawing the eyepatch was incredibly fun, and I have no regrets.

I am trying harder with shading though..

MY FAVORITE DRAWING OF THE WEEK IS NEXT.

Here is Spain and our lovely Portuguese guy getting ready to split Couto Misto, who is 100% cake.

Do you want a slice of Couto Misto cake?

Oh wait too late. Spain and Port were greedy and ate it all >:(

Historical context, though: the Treaty of Lisbon in 1864 was an agreement between Spain and Portugal about their borders, and one of the outcomes was the absolute irradiation of Couto Misto.

Sooo rip.

Well that's all

except for the dang lore that I give you guys every week.

Hope you like it!

Dear Ormond,

How are you? I hope you are well.

I visited our father's grave, which reminded me of you, mainly because that is the reason you and Desmond got into the argument in the first place. I remember walking into Desmond's place when you stormed out. You didn't even look at me. I know I've already said that I was sorry, but I feel like I need to repeat it. I should have been honest with you from the start, and I will be sorry until the day I die.

The same old stone is still there. Someone must've visited recently because I noticed somebody left some flowers and something else that looked like a wooden carving behind. I am not sure what it was supposed to be. It looked like a deformed antler. I don't think Athair carved it since it looks like someone else's work. Whoever did it just left it there, so I guess it was supposed to be a gift. Anyway, the reason I went, well, this will sound odd, I wanted to talk to Father, despite the oddity of it. I wonder if Father was there when I was visiting him, listening. I kind of wish I could hear his thoughts on everything that's happening or has happened since he died. Do you think he maybe regrets how he was as a father? What would he feel about the Lordship-England situation? Do you think he'd try fighting them? I wish I knew.

Sure it sounds crazy, but it just makes me happy, the idea of him being there and listening. I mean, we're also Catholic, so anything is possible, right? You never know what could be real and what could be fake!

Speaking of father, I recently found some of his old letters that he either wrote to himself, received from others, or kept letters he decided not to send. That's how you found out, right? By looking through his old letters? Well, anyway, I was planning on looking through them just to see what he wrote and also to see if I could find anything interesting. Just continuing what you were doing before, you know, everything that's happened. I asked Osraige (since he is technically our half-brother) and Desmond if they wanted to look through the letters with me, but they both said no.

Osraige because, well, he's Osraige, and also, he's more focused on trying to somehow talk to the Lordship.

Desmond didn't want to for personal reasons which was understandable. Oh! I forgot to mention, Desmond is starting to become more talkative again. I should've mentioned that earlier. I don't know if you did something Ormond but if you did, thank you. I can't thank you enough. Maybe our brother will be back to his old self one day.

I got really off track again, sorry. Anyway, back to the letters. I found a couple of great ones, including one that was basically an essay about how he really doesn't like prophecies. He scratched out the name of the person he planned to send it to. That's alright, though; it was just hilarious.

Also, I've found some letters from Leinster. In one of the letters, I don't have what he wrote to her, but it seems to have pissed her off. Half of her letter to him was spent talking about how he sucked. Osraige was mentioned once, which makes sense since that's his mom. I wonder what happened between them.

I might see if I can ask Leinster some questions about Father. What do you think about that, Ormond?

I mean, she is still alive, and it's better to get her story while she's still around. Of course, whether she'll talk to me is a whole other story since we both probably won't forget the Battle of Móin Mhór (which I should've won, but I made mistakes, as you know, so I didn't.) Also, I will have trouble getting in contact regardless of this, as she's recently cut herself off from everybody.

Well, I am going to continue to look through the letters. I will let you know if I find anything else.

Also, this will be attached to the letter I sent you, but I got you a book of poetry. I hope you have time to read it. I know how you love poetry and epics. I would've gotten you another epic story, but you've almost read every single one around here. Though, I have heard of this cool epic from another part of Europe called 'The Odyssey'. Would you like that? I can see if I can get it for you if you'd like.

However, that might mean interacting with random countries I don't know much about, which is a little intimidating, to be honest. I am just going to write something else now so I don't think about that too much.

Finn is getting better at listening. Clonroad is still scared of him, which makes me laugh. Every time I bring Finn with me into a room, they keep their eyes on him. I get why, but I still find it funny. I doubt Finn would actually hurt him. Well, at least, while I don't tell him to do that. I did check in with Osraige, by the way; it's not one of his wolves. Now, I don't have to worry about losing Finn.

In current events, a battle took place near Aughera, but I don't know anything about it. I am sure I will hear something soon.

But also, it took place north of the island, and sometimes, certain people up there don't tell everybody things, which is kind of annoying.

Speaking of the north, Aliech is apparently getting weaker. I am currently hearing rumors. I wonder if she'll be the next one to die around here. Her children Tyrone and Tryconnell have been gaining more control. I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

Well, Ormond, I guess I will wrap it up here. But I was right when I said Clonroad would think I was mad for sending this. It also seemed that they felt pity.

First, there was the argument, and then the incident. Both could've been avoided. But I don't blame anybody for what happened, at least not directly.

Clonroad told me he's not sure if this is a good way to handle everything, but I think it is.

I still miss you, Ormond. That's why I am writing. I really hope you will read this.

I also hope you enjoy the poetry.

Thank you, Ormond.
