Okay, I know I said I am posting a chapter tomorrow that involves random characters, which is why I haven't posted, but I found out a certain event happened, and I couldn't help myself.  Also, YES, I KNOW I SAID I WOULD TAKE A BREAK FROM IRELAND, BUT THIS WAS INTERESTING- SO YEAH.

So for context, I was talking to my mom today about the Soviet State of Limerick (Which was created during 1919 but then was immediately dismantled ), and she mentioned how Irish-Americans one time invaded Canada. I legit spit out my cereal-

I searched it up, and low and behold, yes, it actually happened. I will leave a link to one of the articles I read in the comments. Basically, it was 1866, after the American Civil War, and the Irish Americans had the idea of invading Canada, taking Quebec, and then holding it up for ransom till Britain granted Ireland its independence.

Actually, they did okay in the invasion at first because they were experienced from the American Civil War, but then the American government said: Leave. Just leave, please. 

And so it was! Again, I found it interesting so I made some random art on it ya know?
