Chapter one illustration above, and chapter twenty-seven (?) illustration below. I'm happy with the colors in both, with is unusual! More happy with my techniques in the below image, and I know I messed up the character proportions in the top image! P:

This last I'm SUPER proud of. I've been reliving my childhood lately with A Series of Unfortunate Events, and really love the illustrations, by Brett Helquist. I mimicked the shading style and think it looks gorgeous! 
This character appears for only a few chapters in Science, Eternal Life, and a Traveling Circus. Lord Berthold Shir! He and Lord Pallis (as kids) appear also in the chapter twenty-seven (?) illustration. I will finish shading Pallis next.

I seldom post my art here, so I don't think anyone actually looks at this book as I post... but university mid-semester break is next week, and I am thinking of offering some character art in exchange for feedback/reads on SELTC.  Honestly joining Wattpad and getting so little reads has lowkey killed my confidence. Maybe I AM the only person that enjoys my story... Self-doubt is a side-effect of never having the time to properly socialize with the community I guess. :c
