My first semester of university summed up last week. Or rather, my exams did. I am a pre-vet student; so basically, my first semester of university is a dog-eat-dog academic competition that is exhausting, demanding, and... determining of your future. Only one-third of students get accepted.

Currently waiting to hear back on whether I'm accepted into my dream career with the rest of the nerds, or if I'm going to Pak'N'Save for a tub of binge-eating ice cream.

And in the interim, I've been straining to get back to drawing. Seriously, my hand just would not work. BUT, I somehow managed to get out of my funk two nights ago after spending a few hours futtocking up every attempt at a single drawing and then giving up and doing something easier. 

It was done with colored pencils, not digitally, so it looks muted and rough like this, but it was just a practice. This is the Captain from my story Riven Isles (post-accident).

Anyways, after managing this, I managed to do more! Now I feel like I can draw again (YAY), so... here we are: the drawing that I wanted to do first but gave up on, did the other one, and came back to with a senshistock stock photo as a pose reference. Same character.

And this is a stranger I drew as a practice and a good deed ig -- I spent far too long on it.

I also did a thread on the Wattpad forums (this was before my exams started, so I was just trying to sketch my way out of my funk but still feeling rank) where I sketched a bunch of peoples' characters for free.
Pro tip: don't you dare frikken request five+ of your characters drawn for free. That's indecent exploitation. NO.
