Hi, it's actually been a month since I drew this, but I remain to be incredibly proud of it. It's not perfect, but for my capabilities, it's pretty darn close!

The idea for this came out of a "Movie Drawing Contest" which was loose and up to interpretation. I found out today that I won 1st place in that contest! ;o; Although, to be fair, it was on a small Amino made up of (as a guess) mostly under 16s. :'D

Anyways, I had watched Sword in the Stone the day before I came across the contest and had re-fallen in love with it INSTANTLY. Especially because of how much it felt like my own Riven Isles to me. I'll explain at the bottom.

THE BACKGROUND ALONE TOOK 8 HOURS AND WAS DRAWN ENTIRELY BY HAND WITH A PENCIL, RULER, THEN A SET OF FINELINER PENSssss. It was very challenging for me since I have not sat down and drawn a strict environment since Year 9 (10th grade) graphics. :")

Naive young orphan with little dreams, unbeknownst to a grand and exciting future ahead.

Archimedes - Professor Woods

Prickly scholar who prefers knowledge and intellect and books over any human contact–or so he presents himself.

Merlin - Dr. Oswald

Older guide who sees something in the boy that no one else seems to care about and takes him under his wing.
