two.

Jimin stood behind the counter of the art shop, the day just as the last without much business. Everyone was too busy at the newest music store that they hadn't payed attention to the true art, the true art with a backstory and powerful meaning. It was a shame to him, that so many people out in the world could care less about art and its beauty. He wanted to knock some sense in others, to open their eyes to what art really is, but his people skills weren't the greatest and he was too quiet to actually speak up about it, or anything, really.

He sighed aloud. His gaze was set on the large shop window that allowed him to see the people on the street, counting every person that passed and hadn't entered the little art shop. So far, he counted thirteen and he was only two hours into his shift. If the amount of people that kept passing by the shop kept increasing, the brunette's attitude was slowly going to deteriorate into anger and sadness.

All Jimin wanted was for someone to walk into the shop, at least one person, he didn't care if he knew the person or not. All he wanted was for someone to step foot into the art shop and appreciate what art truly is. Hell, he would even appreciate someone glancing at the art. He just wanted someone, anyone, to appreciate art.

The boy sighed, hunching over the counter like he did the night before. He really couldn't stand the silence that enveloped the art shop. It was silent, way too silent for his liking. He wanted people to happily walk into the shop with smiles on their faces, he wanted to see people laughing together and enjoying themselves because of art. Not everyone gets what they want, though.

That's why the rest of the brunette's shift was filled with mainly nobody.

A customer or two would walk in every now and then, buy something small, then leave without appreciating the art that was hanging from the walls. That's how it was for the shop, though. The only time would actually enter the shop is if they needed a sketchbook, a pack of pencils, any type of coloring utensil and that was it. Nobody stopped to buy one of the art pieces hanging on the walls or even glance at them.

That upset the brunette most of all.

While the brunette was too lost in his thoughts, he failed to notice that a small group of people entered the shop. He didn't hear the little chime of the bell, in fact, he wouldn't have noticed their presence if it weren't for a too-loud-and-unnecessary cough. Jimin shook his thoughts away with a small shake of the head, focusing his attention on the boy standing in front of him. The boy had light pink hair and was smiling at brunette.

"Sorry I got distracted sir," the brunette's cheeks involuntary turned a light shade of crimson, in embarrassment. "What can I help you with today?"

"Hi, yes, my friends and I are here to find a portrait that would fit well with the academy I work at," the pinkette gestured towards a small group of people that were huddled and talking amongst themselves in aisle three. Two of the people were glaring at each other, one of the people was in the midst of talking to the two who were glaring at each other, while the other person looked bored beyond belief and seemed to want nothing to do with the people that were next to him. "Could you help us with that?"

The brunette nodded excitedly, his lips curving upwards at the mention of a group of five wanting to buy a piece of art. The simple thought that people wanted to buy the actual art in the store was enough to make his day brighter.

"What exactly are you looking for, for the academy you work at?" Jimin asked, removing himself from behind the counter so he was standing next to the pinkette. He tried to hide his excitement by attempting to hide his smile, but to no avail. The pinkette caught onto the boy's excitement right away, though.

"Well, my friend over there with the lilac purple hair and I work at the theatre arts mini academy down the street so we would like something to the magic and beauty of theatre arts," the pinkette explained. "The other three, I don't quite know if they need anything, I just wanted to bring them along."

Jimin nodded his head quickly before walking towards the front, right side of the shop. The pinkette followed close behind him, gesturing for the lilac haired boy over to the area they were going. Upon reaching the front, right corner of the store, Jimin skimmed through the rack of paintings to find the perfect one the pink haired boy and his lilac haired friend would need for their theatre arts mini academy.

"We have this one, which isn't very widely known by others, but I think it would suite well with a theatre arts type of setting," the brunette lifted the painting of the rack and showed it off the pinkette and lilac haired boy, whom both looked at the art carefully and thoroughly.

"I like it," the lilac haired boy nodded his head at the painting. "It shows the different aspects of theatre arts and the small variety of colors seems like it would fit in well with the mini academy. I think we should take it, Jinnie."

The pinkette tapped his chin with his index finger as he continued to thoroughly look over the painting. He worked at the theatre arts academy as a teacher for about five years, he knew how well things worked and how well the things all went together. He had to be one-hundred and ten percent positive that it met every little detail that he envisioned for the academy. He wanted his students to walk in every day and feel at home with everything around them, he had to make sure it was perfect or it wouldn't be a done deal.

"How much is the painting-" the pinkette glanced at the brunette's name tag. "-Jimin?"

Jimin looked at the price tag on the back of the painting before returning his gaze to the patiently waiting pinkette. "It's an $89 dollar painting. It was originally more but we had to dock our prices down when business became slow," the brunette sighed. The lack of customers and business really tend to put him in a bad mood. He quickly shook his head from the negative thoughts in his head and smiled widely once again.

The pinkette looked at the lilac haired boy, who was nodding his head. The boy smiled before looking back at Jimin, whom seemed to become nervous. "We'll take it, it's perfect for the academy and it's not a bad price whatsoever."

The brunette let out a sigh of relief. He was beyond happy that someone was going to purchase one of the many portraits in the store, one of the many that others didn't care about even glancing at.

"Alright, if you'll follow me back to the front, I can check you out," the brunette noticed what he said and immediately flushed a very light pink. "I mean check the portrait out, I'm not like that."

The pinkette let out a short laugh as he followed behind the brunette whom just made a small fool of himself. Upon reaching the counter, Jimin repositioned himself behind it and scanned the painting, making sure to carefully wrap it before placing it in a bag and waiting for one of the two people in front of him to pay. The lilac haired boy pulled out his wallet and handed the boy the right amount of money, taking the bagged portrait out of the brunette's hands.

"Have a nice day, thank you for coming!" Jimin exclaimed to the now-leaving duo. They gave a short wave before exiting the shop, the two people who kept glaring at each other following in suit.

The only person who hadn't let yet was the boy whom looked like he didn't want to be at the shop, which confused Jimin. Since he was the one who wanted to be at the art shop the most, why was he still standing against a shelf in the art shop? Jimin couldn't quite figure that out, so he decided to call out to the lone ravenette standing by the door.

"Sir, do you need help with anything?" The brunette called out, catching the boy's attention.

The ravenette looked up, eyes sharply looking at the brunette. His eyes were half-lidded, his lips formed in a straight line, making his lip piercing look a little out of place. The boy's eyes scanned the brunette, gaze lowering until he reached the boy's name tag.

Jimin, the ravenette noted as he turned towards the door and left, leaving the brunette confused.

That's strange, the brunette thought as he watched the lone boy leave, probably to catch up with his friends. He just shrugged at the boy's weird behavior and focused more on the fact someone bought of the many portraits that were hanging on the walls. Someone had finally bought something that was oh-so-dear to the brunette, making his day complete.

+ note ; i highkey forgot to mention yoongs has a lip piercing and has a few tattoos :') i hope you guys like the idea of yoongi like that though - not super punk-like but- yeah idk. but yay they met^^ this story won't go fast so like, don't expect them to get together right away - if they even do - i want more plot to this rather than "wow they're a couple, cute fluff, blah blah blah" i want to tell a deep, sentimental story rather than "bam, they're together !!"
