Hello!!! It's Lumine lore time once again

Comic below inspired by audio above (spoilers for Warrior Cats btw. Idk which book it's one of the later ones I think). Then I expanded on it a little.

Take a shot every time Lumine's fur is inconsistent

Also I did not intend for Shadow to look so. Condescending in that 2nd to last panel. Whoops.

Anyway context!!

First: the kids(Moon and Shimmer). Somewhere in the arc, Dr. Eggman creates two children using Shadow and Lumine's DNA in an attempt to fuse their powers (chaos and soul) together. These experiments were saved by Shadow and Lumine and they basically adopted the kids. They 100% are not married or shipped though lmao.

Note that Lumine never grew up with a mom or any significant parental figure (being raised by G.U.N agents really doesn't count)!!! So yknow, having to leave her kids without a maternal figure is. Yeah.

Speaking of which, context point #2: what is even happening here.

Way late into the arc, aliens come to Mobius and are corrupting everyone. And basically, Lumine defeats their leader by ripping out and absorbing his soul. But because of that soul's sheer power, she loses control and turns into Lost Lumine.

This comic explores a what-if in which Lumine regains control, but now things are very uncertain for her. If that soul keeps trying to control her, she'll keep being a danger. This is also in addition to the countless other restless souls that she's generally been having a moral crisis over.

So she decides to let the souls finally rest and expel them. However, this means she dies since Lumine was only born from the power of the Soul Sapphire in the first place, which comes from the amount of souls it contains!!

So the Sonic Heroes TM decide to give her one last good memory but Lumine kind of planned to dip alone and without notice. And so that comic happens.

What happens in canon though, is that once she regains control, Lumine IMMEDIATELY expels the souls and never actually gets to say goodbye!! So yeah :)

Okay moving on.

I got a game for myself as a treat since new phone actually has storage space now. It's called Pokemon Cafe ReMix and it's a cafe-themed puzzle game with a side of gacha mechanics

And a while ago, I got an Altaria in a festive costume from the gacha which was very cool!! And then I started thinking.

Because, more context, I used to play a fangame called Pokemon Infinity that has a regional variant Altaria that I have on my team. And in my infinite brilliance, I decided to ship my two Altaria together??? I have no idea why, maybe it's because they're both Altaria, but I think it's cute.

And essentially I started concocting a fanfic for them so that's going to be a thing now!! But what's wilder is that I already made a cover for it???? All my other fics are crying in the corner rn lmaooo

But yeah here it is

I'm still unsure on how I want to approach fic writing. I'm really bad at sticking to one thing at a time but tbh going through them one by one is probably the most efficient method. Even then, which one do I start with?? A while back I did a dichotomy thing to determine which fic I'd work on first but things are different now!!

I guess the first thing I need to do is finish my oneshot requests LMAO. Tbh I think I'll just wing it and see how that works out.

Been really enjoying Tears of the Kingdom!! Unfortunately watching RT play is eating up all my time lmao.

I've also started watching Spy×Family!?!? It's really great. I am also a huge sucker for found family so I got immediately hooked 😁😁😁😁

Anyways I will be moving on to a different OC for 2 chapters or so, then maybe one more about Chamomile, then it'll be back to my own characters lol.
