Breaking down the doors OKAY LET'S GO

Okay so somewhere irp, Tails was curled up in his blanket hiding and I described it as a blanket-dumpling. And then based on that, I drew Tails but dumpling.

The scene I based it on btw. Surprise it's actually hurt/comfort lol GOTTEM. Sonic had an identity crisis (not related to the multiverse this time) and tried to erase himself for his hero persona bc he thought that's what everyone wanted from him. And then when ppl picked up on it, Sonic was like "no my other self is DEAD and I killed him. But this is what everyone wants right??"

And Tails took this really badly. Now would be a good time to mention he has abandonment issues and fears that one day Sonic will leave/get hurt/die and never come back. So when he hears THIS, it's like. "Oh. My brother's gone he killed himself" and he shuts down and loses his trust in his brother. Because damn if things are gonna be like this he might as well close himself off, even if Sonic promises things will be better. He just can't trust that anymore (Sonic has almost died like 3 times before this point and each of them affected Tails really horribly).

Tails DOES open up but very tentatively and there's still lingering doubts. But he's trying to work through it.

I just realized this whole chapter will be just. Tails. Anyway. Shortly after the scene I was just talking about, the bros head to the desert bc Amy got kidnapped and they're trying to find her. And Sonic's like "okay I'm not gonna fail my little bro again" so he gives Tails his jacket for sun shade. Important to note; Tails is 10 but Sonic is 18. Sonic is a whole foot taller than Tails. Thus: big jakt.

Also for fun, I drew Tails in his Chosen One form plus Sonic in his Hyper form (the one he used to fight the demon from the Multiverse arc). If you get these two on your case your life is OVER there will be nothing left 💀

One more bro hug because Sonic found out about Tails' panic attack and went "oh. Oh shit I REALLY fucked up". Tails hasn't said much irp about what happened or his trauma and he especially wasn't gonna tell Sonic that dropping him + Sally off for vacation sort of led to a mid-air panic attack. Sooo he just kept all that to himself lol.

lso hasn't happened irp yet BUT IT COULD!! Eyepatch guy is Tails' dad (who has been presumed dead/roboticized as of 10 years ago (yes Tails never got to spend time with his parents lol))!!

I remembered this quote from Lilo and Stitch and was like "wait damn that works really well here" so. Yeah if you know the context behind this quote hopefully you're picking up what I'm putting down??

SO. Let's move on to ANOTHER SERVER

It's another multiverse server but private also AU variants are allowed. And it's with the same ppl in OWD 👍👍

Now. I have 7 different Tailses in use there. And I will talk about all of them because I love my fox boys!!

Top left is the Roleswap AU!! Server AU, characters have swapped roles, yadda yadda. Tails switches with Antoine, who is a swordsman! This Tails isn't a super genius, but he IS a swordfighting prodigy!

Top middle is Prismatic Tails, who comes from a "bad ending" for STR. Basically, to stop Eggman fron rewriting the whole multiverse, Tails makes an impulse decision and accidentally becomes a minor god of spacetime and multiversal travel.

Top right is just STR Tails!! He's really tired and stressed out but he's doing his best to help everyone.

Bottom left is an AU another member created- in it, Antoine gets yoinked by Dr. Starline shortly before OWD starts. This butterfly effects into, during the Tails rescue mission, Sally getting VERY wounded and Sonic having a chunk of his leg bitten off. Tails is safe but no one is really happy, ESPECIALLY not Tails because he blames himself for all of it. He's really sad.

Bottom middle is Archie Tails!! As in from the comics lol!! But uhhh also he got spat out into a really dangerous world during the multiverse stuff and then almost died and unknowingly let a demon possess him to stay alive. He and the demon are friends now though!!

Bottom right is a funny one: during OWD's multiverse arc, I tried to do a bit with Archie Tails but didn't commit and now I have this guy. Void Tails noclipped through the world while portal traveling and ended up in the backrooms/interuniversal space. Dead fucking ass. So he's just a funny little ghost 🤷

And this is Egg Boss Miles! An OWD AU in which Tails never made it to Sonic + others and ends up with Eggman instead. I wanted to play with the idea of an evil Tails and faffed around until I got this guy. But yeah this Tails is the emo one. Incredibly emotionally repressed.

Also really malnourished lol (he spent his early childhood in Eggman's mines and should've died but god said no he can't die since he's still the Chosen One). He's shorter than every other Tails I have. (2'3 while the others are at least 2'6)

Yeah Sonic and Tails aren't brothers here (😔), but Tails theoretically has a family in the Pronghorn sisters. He just doesn't want to admit or acknowledge it.

So in original Archie, Antoine gets blasted by an explosion and gets coma'd. So in the Roleswap AU, guess what happens to Tails!!! 😁😁😁 Also not shown but he loses 3/4 of a tail to the explosion so he can't fly anymore lol

I triiiiied rendering crystals for Prismatic Tails and I did a decent job I think? It looked better in my head but doesn't everything 💀 Gave him the magenta eyes too bc Prismatic Sonic (who I didn't know was a thing when I made Prismatic Tails LOL) has em. And I said sure fuck it.

But that is mostly everything yeah 👍👍👍 I did cut out some other art but everything's on my Tumblr. I dunno when I'll be back!!! But hopefully it won't take 6 months again 💀
