Contrary to what the title suggests, this chapter isn't really all dragonborn, but it might as well be because I drew so much of them over the past week 💔💔

Idk suddenly I got the urge to draw lizard people. And like. Get better at doing so. Because as it stands now, I am decent(?). But I can totally do better 👍

So like about 4 drawings in I finally remembered how to draw Razor LMAO. And I actually figured she has like a certain head shape??? So now it's miles easier for me to draw the curvature of her head and thank god for that 💔💔

Because the first time I drew Razor, the main issue was how to draw her head consistently. There's sooo many drawings where she just doesn't look right bc her head is all wonky. But now I can avoid that hopefully 👍

An attempt at a 3/4 angle. Also I hate wings BUT ONLY because they take up so much of the page grgehjrjehd.

It's so funny. I draw Fuux best at a 3/4 angle but am horrid at side profile. And then it's the opposite for Razor 💔 actually idk if that counts as 3/4 🤔🤔 it's an angle.

Also ig it's not that bad but just like. Figuring out the head is the worst part lol.

There's so much I need to work on regarding dragonborn 💔💔💔 Like how the mouths and angles work and also the mouths at those angles and teeth and like. Agshsjsj. Don't even get me started on their fucking legs since like.

I mean they kinda do???? I think it's mostly the foot/ankle bit that's different. I'll actually have to look up a reference noooo 💔💔💔

Btw how do they wear shoes. I imagine it's a special kind of sandal to accomodate for the talons. Claws? ????

They're claws. Talons are specifically for birds 👍

But yeah wearing closed toed shoes would be very hard I imagine.

If you guessed Fuuxandith's dad AKA Dad of the Year (sarcasm) you were correct!!! I think the only details I got of him was that he is absolutely massive and wears spectacles.

Remember I said Fuux is the shortest in his family. YEAH. Uhh maybe I didn't represent the difference too well visually but his dad is 2 ft taller than him. And I think that's enough of a difference to be considered abnormal???? None of Fuux's siblings are as tall as dad but some of them come pretty close so??

But yeah that is Fuuxandith the 2nd 👍 Despite only having drawn him twice I'm pretty okay with his design. Ofc I should probably make a proper outfit for him but whatever that can wait.

Mainly practice drawing claws bc I realized I never draw the hands (other than when Fuux is crossing his arms). I decided to give dragonborns just the thumb and 3 fingers??? All of these have the hand closed in some way so it's harder to tell if I like this better than having the full 5 fingers though.

Desperately need to use a reference when drawing crossed arms OR YKNOW. Learning how hands work in general. Grhdhsjsjsjs I'll get there eventually probably maybe.

Idk if dragonborns (and other reptilian races) can blush since they're cold blooded??? This actually does raise questions regarding cold blooded races in dnd.

Although I guess ice dragons exist???? And dragonborn are half human as well. I actually just looked it up and the general consensus is they're warm/hot-blooded. Learn something new everyday 👍

Idk if anyone remembers but there is a NPC named Zarryl who is Barryl's youngest half-sibling 👍 This is her. Them. Him???? I actually talked with the old DM like "I designed Zarryl look at her!! :D" but then she was like "??? Zarryl's a guy"

So uh. Actually I'm gravitating toward they/them for Zarryl. Nonbinary icon 💖💖💖

And yeah basically with their dwarven heritage Zarryl has more hair than the average dragonborn 👍 And is also shorter at roughly 5ft. (Fun Fact I forgot how to spell dwarven. it's such a weird word. Now dwarf doesn't look right 💔) But despite dragonborns and dwarfs being known for muscular builds, Zarryl is actually more lean lmao. They just have a little local resturant in the dragonborn city 👍

Another fun fact about Zarryl!! They're also half-siblings with Fuux. 😁👍 But they look nothing like their dad so no one really suspects anything. Obviously Zarryl wasn't raised by Fuux the 2nd so Barryl's dad is basically their dad figure (but Zarryl knows who their actual dad is).

The logistics of how Barryl's family works makes me want to CRY I'm gonna need a chart for this shit (I mean it's probably not that complicated it's just kinda. A lot)

I also figured out what Strazz's pet/familiar is!! This little creature. I don't know what to call it. It's like...inspired by Ori from Ori and the Blind Forest and Mew.

I know in the original infodump chap I said Strazz's pet was like a shark dog kinda thing??? But then I was like 'okay wait do I wanna go 'small harmless druid has a small harmless pet' or 'small harmless druid has a pet that could fucking kill you'' and obviously the 2nd option is hilarious but I like this little thing. I mean who knows maybe it could kill you 🙄🙄
