Hiiiiii ^_^_^_^ my ass has NOT been drawmaxing. Idk what's going on it's like I wake up and then half the day is already gone 😭😭 It is good(?) that I'm not focusing so much on drawing bc it theoretically gives me more time to do collegework. Actually I have been feeling the most caught up with hw than I think I've ever been which is awesome. But also it's like. ???????? Idk how to put it into words exactly I think there's just multiple things happening in my brain that are overlapping which makes it hard to pick out any single one 😭😭😭 I just know that I haven't been drawing at the batshit insane frequency like I used to. I'll figure it out!!!!

(It COULD be a case of the OI fixation calming down but at the same time idts :/// I feel like if it was I would have just started to draw other things. Which I haven't really done aside from slowly working on object OC humanizations. + other factors. Shrug!)

ANYWAY. ^_^ I just had a lot of uhhhh smaller NC AU ideas floating around so I was like "okay lemme grab all of these mfs and put them in a chapter". I didn't get all of them but yk how it is with the image limit 😭

FIRE AXE!!!!!!!!! I don't draw him often so it was really fun ^_^ also I was initially struggling a bit with Ph bc I haven't drawn his regular design in like a month 😭😭 whatever man.

I think Fire Axe just finds it kinda amusing that his little siblings are taller than this guy twice their age 😊😊😊 resisting the urge to pat his head bc of the comparison LOLL okay I'm getting too silly

So my original thought was that Pickaxe would def be Yogurt's type. Passionate and rebellious and individualistic. Pretty 😊😊😊😊😊😊 idk if it would've led to anything serious it just made sense to me. Silly ass high school crushing aaah

But then the Inkulous Jonkerson chap dropped abt Fire Axe's family not fw Sandwich and PC and Ph. And I was like yeah that makes sense. AND THEN I WAS LIKE. "Hm! That probably extends to their families too just by association." Which gave me the idea that Pickaxe isn't fond of Yogurt in the Slightest 😭😭

Idk how'd they initially meet but it'd probably be through PC and Fire Axe. I'm thinking it's probably just by chance. And then at some point they realize they go to the same highschool LOL. This is such a stupid subplot but whoooooo CARES

But anyways this is actually fairly important for YOGURT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT yeah that's right. It's a lot of him trying to talk to Pickaxe and her giving him the cold shoulder 😭😭😭 so I imagine he comes to Pudding Cup sometimes like "I wish she would give me a chance 😔😔😔😔" and Pudding Cup who has been watching this situation unfold knowing this is the Exact same way Yogurt treats Ph is like. "Really now." Just waiting for the dots to connect LMFAO

Eventually PC gets Yogurt to realize the uhh. Irony. And Yogurt's like ". Oh." And that's the catalyst for Yogurt becoming more aware of his behavior and how it affects ppl. It also marks an improvement in his and Ph's relationship 😊😊😊 it's a struggle at first for Yogurt bc he's still biased lol but eventually he comes to realize Ph isn't that bad. Overcoming bias is such a strange thing.......it's rlly sneaky sometimes and one day it's just like "huh. When did that happen."

Also lwk Yogurt being sad his crush refuses to acknowledge him reminds PC of Oreo....... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 so it's also an oh moment for her except she's a hypocrite and just represses it. Lol.

Also x2 PC and Fire Axe 'older sibling who had to act as a parent' solidarity 😭😭😭 I didn't draw Strawberry this chap but PC and Strawb 'absent father' solidarity too. Good grief.

Also x3 idk when I'll get to bring it up naturally so I might as well get the thought out now. I wanna give Fire Axe a gf in this AU.........😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 idk it just makes sense to me. He could also still be single too but like HYPOTHETICALLY. I'm imagining someone who works in like....disaster relief or animal rescue. Something selfless. Character-wise this serves as a foil to Fire Axe's experiences with Sandwich and just rlly solidifies his values and the company he keeps. 😊😊😊

Object-wise I think it'd be funny if she's something like a chew toy. Very soft object makes for a silly image compared to Fire Axe's sharpness LOL.

ALSO I think it's significant that he'd be specifically dating someone outside of the OI cast unlike och and Camberry. Shows how he's moved on unlike Sandwich who's in s2 to prove a point. I imagine Fire Axe has been in this relationship for at least a few months when he and Sandwich talk again for the first time in years. Yeah 😁😁😁😁

PARASOL SWEEP 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 wanted to do a color test. Also I realized I based her object design more off of Victorian parasols than Japanese parasols so I was like. Hm.

1 is natural, 2 is fully dyed, 3 is streaked, 4 I went crazy and exprimented with blonde hair LOL, 5 is underlights, and 6 is gradient. The black and pink color combo is so good 😭😭😭 I'm partial to 5 or 6 personally 🤔🤔🤔

Also I've more or less solidified her lore for this AU ^_^ She and PC are confirmed not childhood besties; I think between between her own schoolwork and taking care of Yogurt, PC was too busy to have much of a social life outside of whoever she happened to talk with at school 🤔🤔🤔 but they've known each other since freshman year of college at the very least. Probably put together as dormmates.

Parasol issss a fashion design/business major ^_^ she's an only daughter so she grew up more or less knowing she had to girlboss her way thru life. I think she's also a grad student....graduated earlier than PC since PC had to take time off to do OI.

Personality wise she has 2 personas. One is like her socialite persona and the other is a casual persona. Just kinda a consequence of how she grew up since she was expected to be a proper lady and allat 🤨🤨 eventually she internalized that these aspects of her couldn't really coexist in the same space so she learned to separate them, and since the majority of ppl expect her to be proper and feminine that's how she presents herself. So being friends with PC gave her a really good outlet to be more casual ^_^ It's not a case of one side being more true than the other though it's more like 🤔🤔🤔🤔 slightly more severe case of the concept of behaving differently around different people. Hopefully that makes sense!!!!!!!

Also idk how much of this will be applicable to Parasol in her main verse but that's a discussion for another chapter ^_^

PUDDING CUP MOM !!!!!!!! NC verse is crazy I've added like. At least 5 new characters with fairly prominent roles 😭😭😭😭 jesus.

I rlly like her eye shape ^_^ Similar to her children with the pointed ends but having a slight downturn to them from general age and working a lot. Same rationale for the more prominent cheekbones. Longer hair bc it felt right. Earrings bc why not LOL maybe leftover from younger days. Very simple dress style. Not sure what her name is yet.....

She's aware of how much responsibility PC took at such a young age and feels guilty that her daughter had to grow up so fast bc of their situation 😭😭😭 Just wants her daughter to be taken care of for once instead of trying to do everything herself. Which is what she was gonna say before PC cut her off lol. I think Pudding Cup has heard that from her mom a lot especially in relation to Ph so she's like "hahahah NOT IN FRONT OF HIM" bc she knows damn well that Police Hat would take that to heart LMAO.

I think Pudding Cup and her mom have a good relationship ^_^ They both respect each other and are pretty casual most of the time. It's a bit of a culture shock for Ph though bc he couldn't even imagine talking to his parents the same way PC talks to her mom LOL. That's why he's like that in the last panel 😁😁

Conversely, Yogurt's actually kinda distant 😞😞😞 teenager factor + he spent waaay more time with PC in his young childhood + questions from his peers made him question his family dynamic so he used to be like. Why isn't our mom around most of the time. I think he generally felt unloved by their mom ever since he started questioning things so those thoughts are really deeply rooted into his psyche 😭😭😭 and currently that manifests as a sort of bitterness and thoughts like 'you weren't close to me so why should I bother being close to you'. Okay this is making me really sad 😞😞😞😞

I think both PC and Mom get where he's coming from but I think whereas their mom is generally more remorseful PC would get frustrated whenever Yogurt gets aloof. Their mom does everything to support them so she's like. Dude come ON.

Sigh. My stupid ass making all this deep lore knowing it's not even close to canon. Like actually how far have I strayed from the canon OI thread at this point LMAO whatever. I just think it's funny to think about 😭😭😭

From my oneshot a few months ago ^_^ I crashed the HELL out while drawing this 😭😭😭 I think it's bc I've been watching these art tip shorts on YT so I'm hyperaware of how I'm drawing. They're legit good tips but it's always like 'draw boxes and the bone structure' and I'm like. I'm a traditional artist dawg I CAN'T DO THAT 😭😭😭 I mean I guess I could but the thought of having to erase all that makes me SICK 😭😭

^_^_^_^_^_^_^ so cute....... kinda had to freeball it bc I couldn't find references for this exact pose. It was either being pinned down in a fighting sense or kabedon. Which was close, but not quite what I was looking for 🤨🤨🤨🤨 experimental poses are so fun but so hellish 💀💀

Btw. Random ass tangent but I think for this AU s1 got canceled bc of the shit with Missile in episode 9 💀💀 The kidnapping was real and everything and it sparked this whole legal issue that got the show canceled due to complications. Also I think WiiU doesn't have proper showhost training; bro just decided to host a competition show one day and ppl let him do it bc he's rich 💀💀💀💀 just a nod to how uhhhh. Rough. Early s1 was LOL. I rewatched OI fairly recently bc I was worried I was going too offtrack with my characterizations and early s1 is so funny and unserious 😭😭😭😭 so I thought it'd be silly to implement that as a detail.
