GUESS WHO'S BACK. I finally have my own space and time again 😭😭😭😭 gotta get back on my GRIND

Anyway. Last set of vacay pics. Actually I don't have any for this in particular but I visited NUS ^_^ my dad wants me to do a student exchange program and it sounds like a good experience but also I think the thought of having to move all my stuff there + having to get used to new systems gave me so much anxiety I started feeling a little unwell. Like you know how stomachs tighten or cramp. Basically that.

This is uhhhh Haw Par Villa? Yeah. It's a sculpture garden made by two brothers (Haw and Par iirc) and it's basically a collection of Asian myths/legends/lessons told by sculptures ^_^ it's very very cool. I'm not actually sure what the one in the pic is supposed to be though.

Disclaimer I took this one off the Internet bc I don't think any of my family took a pic of this one. I wanted to point out this one in particular bc I'm 90% sure it refers to the Chinese/Cantonese phrase of a chicken talking to a duck. Meaning people who are trying to communicate but can't/don't understand each other. And I found it funny bc my dad taught me this phrase just a few days prior (or even just earlier that day idr) when my sister and I were talking past each other lol.

Brief Chinese lesson ^_^ the phrase is 鸡同鸭讲 (jī tóng yā jiăng), which I think is literally translated. When I put it through Google Translate it comes out as 'talking at cross purposes' which means the same thing. I should learn more Mandarin bro I used to be more fluent when I was really young but fuuuuuuck learning another language is hard 😭😭😭😭 ig I wouldn't be starting from scratch but still.

Okay anyway ^_^ there was also a rlly cool sub-attraction called Hell's Museum. It was AWESOME it's a museum about religious concepts of death and the afterlife and the fundementals of living a good life. Conceptually I already knew a lot about it but ig just seeing it being talked about like that was really cool. It also touched on smaller religions and traditional beliefs/rituals like Chinese graves and different ways ppl treated their dead. I learned abt this thing called a void deck that I thought was interesting. I wish I took more pictures bruh UGGGGHHHHHH I need to unlearn my stupid baka pride. Anyway.

In the open back of the museum they had a tree of rememberance that I tied a ribbon to. Shoutout to my dead/MIA Internet friends I miss u guys.

There was also a turtle pond :) they had a food box out and a box to pay for the food. But it was an honesty box so technically you don't HAVE to pay. It's just an integrity thing. There were a lot of coins on the rocks though 💀💀

And!! There was an exhibit for the Chinese(?) 10 circles of hell. Quite gruesone actually; they had the sins for each layer on a sign and had a sculpture display for each circle of hell. Anyway according to the signs I am indeed going to hell. As I should 😁😁😁

Oh and we saw a monitor lizard just hanging around. I love those guys ^_^

We went to a mall and found this in a gamer lounge. HATSUNE MIKU ^_^

Idk if u can zoom in enough but there are Two and Four drawings somewhere on the left side. There's a Hatsune Sans somewhere on there. Some ppl drew Todoroki MHA fsr LOL. Teto's in a few places here too.

On another day we had a family gathering. A looooot of my relatives live in Singapore/Malyasia. Go figure. So we had a lot of social events :V I had fun though bc one of my uncles booted up a Switch for the kids to play and I played a round of Mario Party ^_^ it probably wasn't completely fair since I was against ppl who were 10 at best. I was up against my sister a few times bc they switched out players a few times but she's not rlly a gamer LMAOOOO

My niece asked me to draw Cinnamoroll......she had some acryllic markers out so I ended up coloring ^_^ then I went a little insane and drew more bc I hadn't drawn for close to a month at that point. Never let me do anything ever bro.

Drew my OC ^_^ Unfortunately she looks really similar to Beanie right down to the autistic blue-eyed stare LOL. I've talked abt her very briefly but this is Cyane. She's an OC from the Pokemon fangame I've mentioned before. She rlly likes the Swablu line so her hair has those little tufts a Swablu has. Her earmuffs mimic a regional variant from a different fangame. Her scarf is supposed to also have a cloud motif but I wasn't able to draw it very well.

I also drew my other OC for this game but she didn't turn out as well. Alas. She's on my Tumblr tho.

And then to absolutely no one's surprise I drew OI.

^_^ I had the idea to draw some characters with the national flowers of their HCed uhhhhh nationality???? Ethnicity???? So Singapore's are orchids ^_^ specifically the Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim. Acryllic markers are very fun!! They don't bleed but they also don't blend very well. You can probably see a few scuffed attempts LOL.

Ph 😁😁😁😁 Fun Japan fact; they don't have an official national flower, HOWEVER, sakuras and chrysanthemums are recognized as very culturally important. So he gets two. Lol.

The chrysanthemum wasn't toooo hard to draw but if you look them up online their petal game is kinda insane I'm ngl. The one I drew is VERY simplified.

Pudding Cup !! The Filipino flower is the sampaguita, which is actually a type of jasmine 😁😁😁 I found this very funny bc in the og TPaHK PC uses jasmines for fragrance. So I was like "yo no way crossover episode"

Speaking of that. Lmao so in Dragon AU, PC likes mangoes. Apparently, mangoes are also the Filipino national fruit. Like what the hell is this bro.

That's as far as I got though bc I didn't get around to drawing more. Alas.

Kit goes to church (real)

This is the St. Andrews Church ^_^ I spent a day walking around the city with my cousins and we went here for a little bit. Fun fact, the og building was struck by lightning twice bc a spire was built on top of it and it was already a rlly tall building. Average architecture L.

Saw another rooster while we were walking ^_^ It came up super close to where we were sitting. I LOOOOVE seeing animals casually walking around like yeah there are chickens and roosters just chilling around Singapore. Keep walking.

We went to Gardens by the Bay (the abbreviation they use is GBTB.....my balls.....) that evening to see a lightshow and my sis took a picture of a cat that was chilling but Wattpad is telling me the image is too big? :/ So just imagine a bengal in a cowboy hat.

I went by myself the next day and it is soooo damn pretty. I walked basically the entirety of the garden it took me like 8 hours bro. I was there from 10am-6pm.

This is from an area called Kingfisher Wetlands it's an entire freshwater ecosystem 😍😍 I actually saw kingfishers I have a 1 minute video of a pair of them hunting. I love seeing wildlife!!!!!!

This guy came up to me as I was trying to take the other picture. According to image search this is an Asian Water Monitor??? Must be a baby bc those things are supposed to be super big. Anyway it licked my toe 😭😭😭 ig it was curious bc it just walked up to me and flicked its tongue out. And later as I was crouching it crawled on my bags. Cute ass lizard 😭😭😭😭

Cloud Forest 😍😍😍😍 they had a Jurassic Park crossover too. Very informative place all things considered ^_^ bc cloud forests exist irl and they're very very interesting. And threatened due to. Guess what. Climate change and deforestation 😍😍😍😍😍 never let an environmentalist go ANYWHERE bro these bitches will make everything about the abnormally rapid ecological changes brought on by human interference.

They also had a display for miniature orchids!! Which I did not know existed until then. They had magnifying glasses to see the flowers with they are SOOO SMALL 😭😭😭

There's also a flower dome which is a garden full of plants from like. Mediterranean climates iirc??? They had areas specific to certain places in the world but this pic was actually taken from the Californian garden ^_^ they have grape vines there.

And later that night I did an escape room for the first time 😎😎😎😎😎 I was with my siblings and cousins it was SOOOO COOL we actually didn't make it within the time limit. But we were really close to the end so our gamemaster helped us with the final few puzzles LOL.

I was so stressed the entire time though LOLLL our room used prop knives and I was always holding onto one of them for safety 😭😭😭 even though I literally didn't need to. I wasn't completely useless though I helped solve a few puzzles 😎😎

And then the day we left we went to HOYOFEST!!!!! Idk any of the characters from Hoyoverse but it was fun!! My brother's fumo is in the pic there LOL. We actually never went inside bc my dad didn't know he had to book tickets beforehand, but we saw a lot of characters just coming in and out ^_^ two of my cousins are cosplayers which is why we were there in the first place

We also saw two ppl cosplaying the same character LOL it was very funny to see. One of them was actually wearing aaaaaa....kabuki mask??? Like cosplayers will wear full face masks bc they don't want to show their face. Idk if kabuki is the right word for it.

On the plane ride home I watched The Wild Robot bc my sister recommended it to me and Oh My God bro if I had a nickel for every movie I've watched about a baby waterfowl whose birth family dies and who subsequently gets adopted by a mom not of their species only for the waterfowl in his adolesence to question the legitimacy of his found family and his own identity not being raised by his own kind BUT reconciling with his mom before migrating for the winter. I would have 2 nickels. At least in The Wild Robot the mom doesn't die 😭😭😭😭😭 there's a lot more similarities but I won't list all of them there's too many.

Anyway. Super good movie. Highly recommend if ur a found family truther. I watched Flow too, actually ^_^ flights are good for watching movies I've been meaning to watch lol.

OH AND I ended up listening to Hamilton on the way back. It's Quiet Uptown fucking GOT ME FUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Forgiveness. Could you imagine. The last few songs hit like freight trains istg. It's really nice listening to Hamilton again bc the last time I listened to the complete soundtrack I was like.....????? 12-13. So it's interesting seeing what I focused on now vs back then.

I think back then I and also my other fellow Hamiltrash members mainly focused on the. The romance plot LOL (shoutout to Illusion Shift HAHAHA). But on the flight I was so much more invested in the late-story stuff 😭😭😭 Like how Hamilton and Eliza's marriage evolves esp after Phillip's death. Burr's entire character. Hamilton post-Phillip death. I like a lot of things abt all the character arcs and dynamics but fuuuuck me bro. Grieving your child. Forgivness despite everything. Choosing how to live after loss. There's a lyric from Election of 1800 that's like "can we go back to politics/Please?" that I never caught until now. Bc that song comes right after It's Quiet Uptown so it's just like. Yeah. 😭😭😭😭

Btw I forgot to mention last time we also went to a foot hot spring in Singapore. It was very nice ^_^ but the thing is that there was also an egg frying station. So the whole place smelled like fried eggs LOLLL

If I had more room I would've done something like. On each instance of "I'm not a boy" it would've been flashes of Ph struggling with being a woman opposed to her personality and career interest.

FemPh's relationship with her gender is awesomeeeeee bc she struggles with it in a way canon Ph doesn't 😭😭😭 or at least she struggles to a higher degree. Obvs they both have the "what. I'm queer?" realization but for femPh I think she has this internalization that things would be easier if she were male. Idt she Wants to be a guy but she wouldn't have to justify who she is if she were. And that thought extends to her realizing she Likes Oreo bc 1) jealousy lol 2) being together would be Easier if she were a guy.
