Grins super huge. There was No Way in hell that I would be able to get this up on the day of bc I had work and I hadn't finished drawing everything that I wanted to. So I made 1 Tumblr post to be on time but THIS IS THE FULL EXPERIENCE.

I haven't drawn Dogman in a hot minute + first panel was drawn on near the rings on my sketchbook so it's a wee bit awkward....a lot of the time if a drawing is being made around that area it's just harder bc I'm moving around the rings 😭😭😭 but anyway. HYPERFIXATION NO JUTSU 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 I can't remember if you've Ever said anything abt what kind of cake you like so random cake no jutsu 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂

2nd drawing I lwk added last minute bc I was like "hmmmm I wanna include Petey But How". I reaaaaaally like drawing the puppy eyes GIGGLES it's so unserious. Like dog father like cat son.

Also it's Very Funny to me how last time I drew Dogman stuff I generally stuck closer to the comic looks. But here I kinda gravitated to more furry-like artstyle. Hashtag developing my own(?) style win.

And then PC + August for the BLOND HAIRED FILIPINO WIN 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 I keep calling him Lamp in my head. Super fun drawing him ^_^ I keep telling myself I should draw ur OCs so this was a very good excuse to do that ^_^_^_^ I've been meaning to draw these two ever since August Filipino reveal LOL.

I had a much bigger drawing idea in mind that included all the Oxalis OCs but came to the conclusion that I would simply Die if I tried that. But maybe next year 😁😁😁😁 Or maybe I surprise you idfk LMAOOOO

Hyperfixation crossover. Och but Dogman. I did smthn like this before but we're in full furry mode now dawg. Ph and Oreo are the same as last time (German Shepard, Black Lab) but PC is a Ragdoll cat this time.... 😁😁 no particular reason I just thought it looked like her. Apparently temperament wise Ragdolls are actually quite sweet and affectionate. Ig it kinda checks out bc pudding is a sweet desert.

Unfortunately I don't know that many cat breeds and Definitely not enough to point one out for PC. It's like that chad meme of dog vs cat owners and the dog owner know the exact breed but the cat owner only says the color 😭😭😭😭 that's what I did for Dragon PC's cat form I just say she's a black cat. I feel like if I go of colors alone I can see canon PC being pure white (matches color), white/light brown accents (for variation), or white/orange (vibes).

See I knew this would happen bruh

I'm taking a geology class this semester ^_^ I like rocks so hopefully it will be fun 🤞🤞🤞🤞 although every time my professor says 'rocks and minerals' I think of the animation of the voiceover of the How to Kill a Geologist Tumblr post. Not the worst thing to think of tbh

Aaaaand my working days are different this semester too. Good news my weekends are free now bad news Mondays and Wednesdays are totally booked 💔💔💔💔 I'll thug it out though. I think I prefer having my weekends free anyway it saves me from waiting mode 💔💔💔💔💔

Other than that I just need to lock in for the semester. IK IT'S ONLY THE SECOND WEEK but I feel like I haven't been doing anything. Ik having an unfinished chapter can make me not want to do work so HOPEFULLY. Getting this out will do the trick.

The 2nd panel was HELL btw drawing the kneeling pose was pretty fun but drawing a person without starting from the head..........dyk how koalas can't recognize eucalyptus leaves unless they're on the tree. It felt like that. You can see my struggle from the smudged eraser lines everywhere 😭😭😭 The other issue was just drawing him in proportion to PC. Thank god for references 😭😭😭😭

There are bits that I think are probably off BUT FOR THE MOST PART ☝️☝️☝️☝️ it does what it needs to do and looks reasonable enough. Win.

Originally this was just a 1 panel interaction but because I'm unhinged and crazy I extended it. They're talking abt Dragon AU btw bc PC is a dragon. So that's why she calls Ph monsterfucker (och 😭😭) and that's why Ph makes the connection that she Is the monster. Bc he doesn't trust her in TPaHK so he's basically saying she's Potentially Dangerous. <- guy who doesn't know there's AUception where he's the dragon

IT DID ☝️☝️☝️ give me a good excuse to dabble in a smidgen of Dragon Ph AU lore. Mainly just that I think the dragon version has more scars than the human version. Idrk Where or What they are but I'll figure that out 😊😊😊

And then cat maid Dragon PC bc I was like. Hm. Well if we have bunny tuxedo Ph then this is obviously the next logical step. Actually I lwk want to draw her as the dragon maid from the anime but maybe another time.

More Dragon Ph AU bc I got the urge to draw his full dragon form. I have like 4 practice drawings that I can't fit in this chapter but they're not very good anyway LMFAO. I have never drawn a deer before so it was a bit of a learning curve but I locked in for this drawing 💪💪💪💪💪The head is easy to draw tbh it's actually like drawing a dragon 😭😭 bc they both have sideways facing eyes so the general head construction is similar. And then the muzzle is kinda dog-like. It's really the body that gives me grief and the practice drawings are also attempts at full/half body.

Idk if I've said this before??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 My image of Dragon Ph is just like. A Creature tm. It might take me a while to really solidify the vision but this is an okay start methinks. I'm having that problem where I want the design to evoke too many things at once so it ends up a bit directionless + I don't know how to draw the thing I want to draw so that also makes it difficult. BUT I'LL GET THERE.

Also he Is supposed to have scars on this side of his body but bc I'm still starting out I omitted them for now 💔💔💔

Also x2 idk if I mentioned this before but bc his attunement is stillness his antlers collect little particles if he stands still enough 😊😊😊 so the things you see across the antlers sre dewdrops.

OKAY!!!!!! Hmmm maybe I'll redraw this someday to make it a little more Graphic I didn't get to draw the body. Basically what I think catalyzed Ph's whole "dragons are monsters" mindset in his AU is that he was attacked by humans. Not hunters just regular ppl who were scared of him bc he's a giant fucking Creature. Like he's a 8-9ft stag with bigass raven wings. And in this world anything that looks as crazy as That is understood to be a dragon.

So they attack him and Ph gets spooked and defends himself. And what ends up happening is he impales the shit out of one of them with his antlers. The others retreat because Fuck That and Ph is left with a body bleeding out on his head. And that just completely traumatizes him 😭😭😭 So the self-hatred comes from a slope of Horror at what his species is capable of and a very warped sense of empathy for humans bc yeah of course they're scared of dragons they're fucking terrifying 😭😭😭 It's the same motivation of wanting to protect humans from dragons except it's Fucked Up and also self-punishment.

Obvs the idea in his story is that he gets better and heals but Holy Shit is that going to take work 💔💔💔 idk where to even start with him. Reminder that this is Police Hat Object Illusion btw LMFAOOOOOOOO
