Thought abt their genderbends a little too hard 😭😭😭😭 so here we are

Based on the ep5 scene where Strawb and Ph are arguing over leader position and Oreo's like "ladies calm down!!" and then Ph goes "I'm a guy :|" 😭😭😭

Small aside on Strawberry's genderbend....mainly focused on changing up the hair bc I didn't want to think abt clothes LOL ^_^ it's supposed to look like strawberry leaves as opposed to fem Strawberry who uses a hairtie to represent that.

I think this confusion (at least with genderbend) happens bc Ph always has her hair tied up in the early season to be like. Professional. Same reason why she always wears her hat also 😊😊😊 I don't draw early season Ph Too too much but I always draw him wearing the hat bc I hc that, again, he just wants to appear professional. But after he gets used to being on the show/gets comfortable around Oreo (after ep.5) he wears the hat less and less.

And then I like to think after ep.10 he starts wearing his hat again even around PC 😭😭😭😭 guys.........

ANYWAY back on track the bun and hat combo just makes femPh look like a guy with a manbun I KNOW it doesn't rlly come across like that with the way I drew it but trust me 😭😭😭 it's also partially to do with how assertive and active she is and the fact that she's a cop. All of which are very masculine things. And maybe they assume """""he""""" just has a big chest idk LMAO (AGAIN NOT CONVEYED THAT WELL IN THE DRAWING 😭😭😭)

Sigh.... long hair vs short hair fem Ph struggle. I do like the long hair, it looks sooooo pretty on her and again reinforces how she leans into traditional femininity bc that's just Ph's character. I'm gonna go brain blast mode for a second hang on

Okay so like. The police force is a very Male Dominated occupation I'm pretty sure. So as a woman I feel like femPh would kind of struggle in that environment 😭😭 I think she's passionate enough to not be personally discouraged, he seems to not rlly Care too much abt what other ppl think unless they're close to him/authority figures, but socially I think there's some pressure there. And I feel like subconsciously she makes changes to her appearance and mannerisms to fit in with the work culture bc she Does care about uuhh what's the word. Like maintaining the status quo(????). She doesn't want to stand out bc that usually causes problems.

However comma adopting a more masc persona puts her at odds with female gender norms which fascinates me LOL. Like which one would she care about more.... this is also why in my initial femPh design she has short hair. Again though she can always tie long hair up and even hide it under her hat for the masc persona.... idk I like the idea that femPh accidentally presents kind of gnc in an effort to fit in with her colleauges 😭😭😭 there's a lot of ways to interpret this in my head.

The fact that femPh even IS a cop in the first place interests me because again. Male dominated profession that requires more assertive "masculine" traits. And ESPECIALLY if Japanese Ph hc is taken into account because I think Japan still leans into traditional female conventions.....and I feel like active law enforcement is a very Not Feminine job according to those standards. I still think she's an officer, but it's interesting to consider how she reconciles those 2 aspects of her identity (unaware that it's literally perfectly acceptable 😭😭)....

HOWEVER COMMA I still think Ph's physical and social experience in law enforcement is different when he's a man vs a woman 😭😭😭😭 unfortunate.

Anyway hopefully that all makes sense and is fairly accurate..... ^_^' I'm gonna be really embarrassed if I'm just talking out of my ass LMAO.

Also. Strawberry "that's a woman? (he has been beefing with a girl this entire time)" vs Oreo "that's a woman? (questioning orientation)" 😭😭😭

FemPh is sooooo pretty what the hell 😭😭😭😭😭 I imagine when Oreo saw how long her hair was she was like "GIRL LET ME STYLE UR HAIR FOR YOU PLEASE"

Anyway....sigh.......image-based self-esteem problems.... based on what Ink (hiiii!!!!) said abt Oreo's issues being more exaberated as a woman 😭😭😭 um. I feel like I had more to say but idk what to say that doesn't echo what's already been said. 🤔🤔🤔 Oreo being attracted to Ph not Only just for her femininity but like...she's just a modern woman yk. Oreo seeing all the things she's not in Ph and being like "oh wow.........."

Meanwhile Ph lwk worries she's not Feminine Enough bc of her line of work and bc of her mannerisms 😭😭😭 and she admires how outwardly fem and expressive Oreo is even if Oreo isn't particularly feeling it.

Pudding Cup's too tsundere for this 😭😭😭😭😭

Yes Ph's dress is based off of the Princess from Slay the Princess LMFAO but hear me out it's simple but pretty and easy to move in. She would NEVER wear a short/tight-fitting/crop dress lemme tell you (much to Oreo's dismay).

I feel like she was even hesitant on the fact that there's no sleeves or straps even 😭😭 and that it's kind of low-cut. And then Oreo was like ". Girl."

I had an idea that Pudding Cup caves and goes like. "Okay yes you look very pretty Police Hat" as he's red in the face struggling to make eye contact and Oreo's like "yayyy ^_^ that wasn't so hard right" while Ph beside her is just ".///." or something AJSJSKSK

Okay so I talked abt Oreo and Ph's sorta gender-related issues so it's only fair if I talk about Pudding Cup too 😁😁😁 first of all since it's socially acceptable for mascPC to be the way he is absolutely no one blinks an eye at his behavior 😭 as opposed to regular PC who I'm SURE ppl comment on like "u act like a boy" and "why can't u be more feminine" etc etc 😭😭😭😭 ig mascPC still presents gnc but his behavior and mannerisms are unquestionably masculine.

Howeverrrrr I think maybe his repression is a bit worse in this verse.....??? 🤔🤔🤔 just because. Male social expectations. I feel unqualified to talk abt this 😭😭 gonna move on now!!!!!

Since PC is an older sibling to a younger sister in this verse I imagine he also knows how to do hair 😊😊😊😊 mostly simple stuff like basic braids and buns but still. And Ph's hair is very easy to work with since it's just uber straight LOL. Oreo's is more difficult I imagine 😭

They're initially confused that masc and fem PC look literally The Same esp because masc and fem Oreo/Ph look significantly different but they all quickly come to the conclusion of "yeah that tracks" 😁😁😁😁

I'm like flipflopping between 'masc versions are taller and fem versions are shorter' vs 'they're all the same height' bc on one hand men are statistically taller than women. On the other hand they're the same people. The reason I bring this up is bc mascPC looks taller than femPC in the drawing....and I feel like when mascPC and Ph meet, PC is like "oh you're still short LMFAO"

I feel like these two have had a convo like "hey Police Hat I bet you'd also look really hot as a girl" and Ph immediately goes "what?!?!?! No. Stop that."

And upon meeting the genderbend versions Oreo's like "dude I told you" and Ph is just embarrassed/flustered bc of it 😭😭😭😭

DAWG I go back to college today I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO DRAW THE COMICS I MEANT TO DRAW THIS WEEK. Maybe I can work through one over the weekend I don't think I have work scheduled 😭😭😭 I've been so preoccupued with playing a diff game my sister's been bugging me to play LOL I'm having a fun time with it tho so. It's cool ^_^
