Hi!!!!! AP exams are OVER and we're basically doing nothing in school rn. So I scrounged together some art I did over the past week or so and yeah here we are :]

We did some landscape watercolor painting in APES (except me bc I had to finish another assignment lol) and my teacher put on some Bob Ross for us. And I've never seen Bob Ross's show before. And I fucking loved it sm it's so calming and nice <333 Might watch more over the summer.

Speaking of things I like!! RT started streaming Stardew Valley recently and I also love it. Such a nice game.

Andddddd also I got a new game recently (2 1/2 weeks ago) and:

I love him <3 I saw that abyssinians and a wizard outfit were in the game and knew what I had to do. He's so cute rehdndnsns 💞💞💞

I also have Claire too; she's wearing a spacesuit <3

Okay so first of all!!! I drew some of the dnd characters in fancy party outfits because I said so. I wanna include some event or whatever in which they need to go undercover at a fancy party because I LOVE that trope for some reason.

Def a suit wearer. I wanted to draw a lil comic abt the practical reason why she wears a suit but I couldn't figure how I wanted to draw it so next time hopefully!!

I actually wore a suit recently and honestly???? Suits > dresses for the most part. Was not a fan of the overcoat (most likely a size thing bc I borrowed it from my brother) but the shirt and pants and tie???? Yes.

Like don't get me wrong dresses are nice. But my mom buys them for me so sometimes they're not really my style lol. Short dresses make me feel kinda eugh.

I also wanted to draw fancy Fuuxandith but I forgot how to draw him lol. So here's a consolation for now.

Kinda want to give him a slight redesign in the way of redoing his head and facial structure. I wanna draw dragonborn better >:( Just gotta practice more. Maybe do actual drawings from references lnao.

Ori outfit design!! Thankfully she was a lot easier to make an outfit for bc she's just the common traveler type and very lowkey. Considering she's a fugitive lol but anyway.

This could also work with Vairx because fun fact! Neither of them have been hugged like ever. And even if they have they were too young to remember it.

I remembered an incorrect quote that went like that and thought it really suited these two.

Okay NOW it's Ceral lore time.

First off:

Her friends!!!!

Top left is Allister; human paladin with red anime hair and a big sword. He was kinda the leader of their group and a friendly, charismatic lad.

Top right is Stella; half-elf druid!! Very nice and chill and has a soft voice. Lwk want to use him as a PC in a future campaign bc I like his design lol.

Bottom center is Daphne; firbolg bard/rogue!! Firbolgs are cow people whereas satyrs are goat people. Firbolgs aren't actually cow people perse, but most ppl draw them with cow like features lol. Anyways Daphne is cool and kicks ass.

Okay so the lore as you know it is these four went out to take care of a monster, but they got their shit wrecked and Ceral was the sole survivor and got severe truama as well as a permanent scar.

And there was essentially no real reason she was spared right??? And her whole arc was learning to let go and trust that people wouldn't die the second she let her guard down lmao. Something like that.

So this new lore gives an actual reason why she was left alive. But what I liked about the old lore was that is was impersonal to Ceral and it was just a thing that happened. Because things like that can happen and people die in horrific accidents without any other reason other than just being there. And Ceral just had to live with being a survivor and I thought it adhered more to real life.

But this new version is better(?) for the story so...gotta do it for the lore.

So the new lore!!! Ceral + friends go out to defeat the monster outside the city. Monster absolutely destroys them amd Ceral is on the brink of death. She lives and recovers back in the city. The start is essentially the same.

Later on, most likely mid story, Ceral starts getting horrendously sick. Fainting spells and cold sweats and coughing blood kind of sick. And also her scar gets like....really ugly.

:) Yeah. She covers it up with magic bc that is very worrying and she doesn't want anyone to be concerned about her ever. But obvs she can't hide it forever.

And so later in the story, the party finds out this sickness is because of Orridal. The monster that she faced before was like a...construct? Of Orridal's power. Something like that. And he left her alive ON PURPOSE so that he could infect her with his dark power so that when he got strong enough, he could make her sick and force her god to intervene. And then he'd fight the god from inside Ceral's body to weaken them, and so when his followers released him from the shadow realm, he'd ascend to the celestial realm and kill the weakened god so he'd assume control over the entire world.

And it's not just Ceral; he's doing this for a lot of clerics from different pantheons because he wants to kill ALL the gods.

Very major chance Orridal straight up kills the cleric while making them sick. Which isn't much of a problem for him bc less clerics = less faith power for the gods. And at the same time, weakening the gods means the clerics' power lessens and likely disappears altogether when the god dies. I say 'likely disappears' bc I'm a fan of cleric powers coming from their devotion to their beliefs rather than strictly from their gods. And then after the god dies, the cleric is vulnerable to Orridal's manipulation because yknow. He's literally inside their blood.

And then at some point, Ceral's god decides they're not dealing with Orridal's shit and decides to confront him themself. They can't go into the shadow realm, so they decide to use Ceral as a vessel and go into her body to fend off Orridal and weaken him, and also to protect Ceral on the quest to lock Orridal back into the shadow realm.

Because guess what??? Godly possession makes you immortal!!! Going off on a tangent; the idea of "Ceral gets possessed by her god" was like an AU because I thought it was a funny way of explaining how Ceral hasn't died over the 12 collective times she's almost died in the previous campaigns. That being "she's immortal because god won't let her die lmao". But then I was like "wait I can make that fit into the actual story" so here we are. So while she's possessed by god, Ceral can't be killed by any mortal means.

But she can still feel pain. And having a god and the antichrist waging war inside your body can get VERY painful. Some days she'll be in pain from the sickness and other days she'll be burning up because of the godly powers. And if she gets any fatal injury(i.e. falling off a mountain), she'll feel the pain but won't die.

There's this one scene I thought of in which Fuux basically says "fuck you" to god bc they caused Ceral so much unnessecary pain. Like if they want to kill Orridal, why use Ceral as collateral? Because they're afraid of losing and dying???? But god pulls a no u and goes off on Fuux for being a hypocrite and a coward and it's just like. Man. Imagine getting a personal fuck you from god themself.

And ofc it doesn't help that Ceral's like "no I have to do this now. If I have to suffer to protect this world so be it". Because you know. Of course she's like that. So hopefully that all makes sense?!?! I'm wary of plotholes and shit like that </3

But yeah that's the gist of it 👍👍👍You guys wanna see pics of baby quails??? We hatched them in APES and they're so cute.

After a day or two in the incubator they got put in a safety box.

And after a week we took them out so the paper could get cleaned.
