Sociopathy: To lack basic empathy for others. Cannot feel empathy, but can understand what they should be feeling. Compulsive liars, high risk takers. Tend to be sadists, taking genuine joy off of the expenses of others.
Patients tend to stay away from social situations to avoid confrontation or awkwardness. They are very aware and alert, and often appear jumpy, even though they are not careful. They are reckless.
