A version of Ghost who exists in an alternate reality- her name is Athena. Her entire family, save for her father, is attacked and killed by Death, who slaughters them for the sake of satisfying his sadism (which was made stronger after the death of a young version of Drakusana). Athena survived, but was blinded by lava which Death had shot into her face. Her father managed to save her, but ended up dying of his wounds some time later.

While both Ghost and Athena have the same goals- a world of peace- they have very different methods of achieving it. Athena is completely ruthless, willing to kill anyone who she deems as making the world worse than it should be. Unlike Ghost, who seeks to negotiate and believes others will change, Athena fears that the longer a cruel being exists, the more lives they will take- thus, she will not risk negotiation unless they themselves truly wish to change, without any of her influence.

Much like her more traditionally compassionate counterpart, Athena does suffer from trauma due to what she experienced when she was a very young hatchling. This trauma is made worse by the physical wound she carries from that day- almost her entire face is gone. She also has no friends, and has lived in isolation for almost her entire life.

She killed alternate Death when he and some other fire dragons attacked a human village without reason, as well as his mate Envy. This leaves their adopted child, Ice, wishing for revenge.

Being more focused on combat than negotiation, Athena is a formidable fighter. She is capable of flying faster than Ghost, and has trained her wings to act as blades. She is notably smaller than her OG counterpart.
