xxviii.
I looked around, mesmerized by the classic aura of the restaurant. There was a corner where musicians were playing classical music with their instrument.
The place was open - and fresh air was freely flowing, keeping the place cool.
I'm glad I chose a good one. I even had to search this up online.
A formal-dressed lady led us to a table which was just perfect for the view outside. The restaurant was overlooking the lit-up city of Seoul.
"What do you want to order? It's all on me," I assured Jimin as I handed him the menu.
"Anything," he shrugged, "I'm okay with anything."
"So if I ordered poop stew with iced pee, you'd eat it?" I raised an eyebrow.
He gave me a strange look, and I laughed. "Order what you want, pabo."
While eating, Jimin and I kept giving each other suspicious glances.
I almost spit out the rice inside my mouth when I was close to laughing.
"Stop making me laugh," I mumbled at Jimin, mouth still full.
"You're the one who started," He chuckled, mouth also full.
I finished the last bit of steak on my plate and drank water.
"Are you done yet?" I asked Jimin.
"Why are you so excited?" He looked at me strangely.
"I want dessert, so you better finish that up or I'll leave and let you pay," I threatened.
"Okay okay, I'm done, just one more spoonful," He snorted.
I rested my chin on my hand, staring patiently at him as he ate the last bit of his food.
"Faster~" I teased, and he playfully glared at me.
"Yah, you're the one who forced me—"
"Don't talk when your mouth is full," I grinned cheekily.
"Says you!" He rolled his eyes but smiled afterwards. "Okay, I'm done."
"Okay okay, go kneel down!" I excitedly told him.
"Hey, lower your voice if you don't want to get caught," he whispered as he placed the ring inside the box, hiding what he was doing under the table.
He finished the glass of water and cleared his throat, standing as he made his way to me.
"Love~" He muttered, smirking.
He pulled my hand to stand up and we exchanged our last mischievous gazes.
| Jimin's POV |
"You made me feel the happiest I've ever been. Will you take the pleasure to be with me for the rest of our lives?"
I honestly wished she'd realize that my words weren't just a lie. If only I could tell her.
I kneeled down and took out the box of ring, catching other people's attention.
She placed a hand on her mouth, pretending to be shocked.
"W-will you m-marry me?" I gulped.
Why am I even stuttering? I mentally punched myself.
I felt my heart beat faster when she nodded her head, mumbling a yes.
I heard multiple claps from around us, also some cheering as I placed the ring onto her hand.
"I love you."
I pulled her into a hug.
Hey, I really do. I sighed.
"I love you too," She mumbled, while looking at her ring.
It feels like heaven when she said those words - but I had to wake myself up to reality that this is just a fake proposal.
For dessert. Of course.
"Success!" She whisper-yelled, cutting off the moment that I thought was sweet.
In reality, I don't think she will ever say those words to me. I love you?
I forced a smile. I love you.
