xx.
I brushed my teeth infront of the mirror.
Jimin was still sleeping on the couch.
I've decided that I'm letting myself have some alone-time.
I mean, yesterday with Jimin cleared out my mind, but after meeting Taehyung.. my mind was distracted again.
I finished brushing my teeth and tried to pick a casual attire.
I ended up wearing a white blouse and a skirt, under a black long padded jacket.
I brought a little purse with me and then fixed my hair. Just like a usual girl, I put on some light makeup which wasn't too obvious.
I took a piece of paper and scribbled a few words on it before sticking it onto the fridge.
good morning jiminie, i'm going out for a while :) be back soon !! byeee

I exited the empty apartment, not really knowing where to go.
I let my feet lead me out of of the building and as soon as I got out, cold wind blew against my face.
I rubbed my hands together and blew on it, and then placed it on my cheeks trying to keep myself warm.
I placed my hands inside the pocket of my jacket and started to walk.
I passed by a poster hanging on the street light. There was a newly opened art exhibit a few blocks away.
Art.
I decided to drop by at an art museum, even though I knew it might make things worse.
Everything about art makes me remember the best artist I know, Taehyung.
Taehyung, again.
I just want to stop talking about him.
But how do I do that when everything just reminds me of him?
A few minutes later, I stopped infront of an open store - more like a hall.
It looked like the one on the poster so I assumed I was in the right place.
The room was filled with a number of sculptures, and hand-counted paintings. The interior was mostly marble, giving the place a more interesting aura.
I walked around, exploring the place and the art pieces.
Most of the sculptures were out of clay and wood. In the middle of the hall, there was a statue of an angel kneeling down.
Its wings were black, unlike the body.
I felt something small gripping my hand. I looked down, only to see a familiar face of a little boy.
"Saerin noona," He waved at me, smiling.
"Jihoon! Annyeong~" I caressed his black hair.
"Aigoo, this kid — Jihoon!" A middle-aged woman gently grabbed the boy.
Our eyes met and I instantly smiled.
"Saerin-ah, what a coincidence," She smiled at me.
"Hello, eommonim," I bowed.
"Are you here with anyone?" she asked and I shook my head.
"Mhmm, I came here with.." She glanced at a tall guy whose back was facing away while he was studying a certain sculpture.
"Taehyung."
"Oh, okay.." I nodded and forced another smile.
"Taehyung-ah," Mrs. Kim called for him.
Taehyung turned around, his hair swooped away revealing a glimpse of his forehead.
He gave his mother a questioning look and then his eyes travelled to me.
I pursed my lips as he bowed at me politely, smiling.
"This is Saerin, she's..."
Mrs. Kim purposely stopped and glanced at me.
I stayed quiet until she continued.
"She's someone from your past."
Taehyung's expression became dull but his lips curled into another lacking smile, sadly not a genuine one.
I felt my heart crumple inside my chest.
"We've met before," He intensified the stare. "At the park."
"Hi, nice to meet you, Saerin."
He offered his hand out.
I looked at it for a moment before holding it. He gently shook my hand but I was the first one to let go. I didn't want him to feel how much my hand was trembling.
I was terrified.
Let go. Big word.
"If you talk to her about art, I'm pretty sure she'll understand. Eversince you were kids, she always sat by you whenever you drew or painted," Mrs. Kim explained.
"Jinjja?" Taehyung's face lit up a little, but I knew he wasn't so sure about this. About me.
Well, of course. He doesn't know me as well as how much he knew me before he lost his memory.
"Grandma, I'm hungry," Jihoon butted in, rubbing his tummy.
"We'll eat, alright," She spoke softly to Jihoon, "Taehyung-ah, I'll leave the two of you here. Be nice to Saerin."
I nervously smiled as Mrs. Kim walked away. Jihoon waved at me and I waved back.
I was quietly watching as they disappeared, wishing they'd come back and break the tension.
Finally, Taehyung broke the silence.
"So.." He started and I cautiously turned to him, trying to act normal.
"Mhmm.."
"You like art?" He looked at the sculpture near us.
"Kind of. I think everything is art in their own way." I honestly said.
"I agree. Do you know how to paint?" He asked.
I sighed.
I wanted to tell him that he was the one who taught me how to paint.
"I don't really know if I still know, someone taught me how to paint when I was young.." I explained and he nodded, listening to every word I said.
"Did you eat lunch yet?" He asked and I shook my head, muttering a short "nope."
"I'll treat you - in one condition," He grinned cheekily.
I internally gasped at the sight. He looked so playful but so attractive at the same time.
"What?"
"Paint with me~"
He grabbed my hand.
I looked down on our hands, feeling like my heart was about to pop.
He better stop or else I'll expect more than this. I don't want to fool myself but I always end up doing it.
I'm falling for the second time - yet for the same person. And it scares me.
