A quick sketch I did at work. I drew my favourite Italian lady Yuma!

Yuma is actually a Sokoke Cat (or african short). We adopted her from our local shelter, which brought her in from italy. There she was born as a streetcat and even lived as a stray with her mother for a short period of her life.

Sometimes I wonder, if she understands the native cats in our neighborhood XD

Yuma has a pretty complex fur pattern and lots of different colours, so I thought she would be the perfect subject for my little color study XD.

I mean woahh there's even bits of red in there! (If you're asking yourself what that little glittercharm on her collar is; it's actually a capsule which contains her home adress if she ever gets lost) So I kinda also wanna inform y'all: If you ever happened to find a lost cat, check if she wears a collar with a name on it (maybe on the inside) or a capsule like Yuma does. Bc I've seen a lot of ppl who still don't know what that capsule is good for. And even if everything fails; you can still bring the cat to your local vet and they should be able to distinguish quite fast where the Cat came from because of a chip transplant every cat carries nowadays.

Wichtig:

Ich sags auch nochmals auf Deutsch. Wenn ihr jemals eine verlorengegangene Katze findet, schaut auf ihrem Halsband nach Namen oder Adressen (Manchmal auch auf dem Inneren des Halsbandes) oder haltet ausschau nach einer Kapsel wie es Yuma hat. Darin befindet sich eigentlich alles; über Adresse und Name bis hin zu Telefonnummer. Und wenn alles scheitert, könnt ihr die Katze immer zum Tierartzt bringen; jede Katze muss per Gesetz einen Chip tragen, auf dem elektronisch die Daten von ihren Besitzern festgehalten ist. Ich sag das alles bloss, weil es immer noch so viele Leute gibt, die solche Sachen nicht wissen ^^.
