I Thought You Liked Me First.

I got over him.
I guess It won't be too long to move on.

Ron hid his hand in his pockets, sitting on a bench under a tree. Alone time is what he needed for now. The wind perfectly flips the page of his book, making him smile a little. As he continues to read, the silver zipper of his leather jacket shines as the sunlight reflects on it.

He was like a character in a fairytail. Ress' gaze had full lock on his friend. He seems so... Elegant? It was his first time seeing Ron here. Perhaps they'd have a small talk.

"Yo, ugly!" A familiar voice yelled. Ron looked up to see who the boy was, and to his suprise it was actually him.

Him.

The blond closed his book and walked towards his friend, giving him a hug. "Wh-what're you doing here." Ron asked, spilling out more as a statement. His friend responded with a slight shrug.

"I uh - y'know, actually decided to walk here for once. Didn't expect to see a couch potato here." His fixed his glasses and lazily swifted his gaze to Ron. Just seeing him like that feels so weird. Well, he liked me then, so it's probably a side effect... wait, what?

"The place you live in probably has a park there, right? You live really faw away from here." He fixed his leather jacket, poppin' up the collar because of the breeze. "So, why here you dummy?"

"I..." reasons. Reasons. Fuck. Need reasons. "... Wanted to visit you so I gu-" Ress' phon vibrated, making him jump a little. It was his mom. "Yeah?.... Okay... I won't be long, 'kay bye."

Ron just looked at him.

At his eyes.

At his soul.

Meanwhile Ress wasn't sure if it was the temper that was making him blush or his friend. "Wh-what time is it?"

Ron checked his watch. "Ten minutes before seven." His friend nodded multiple times, fixing his glasses once more. Ron smirked. "Pfft, you gotta go."

Ress, looked at Ron, lost in thought for a second. No worries, he soon snapped back into reality. "On right, right! Okay, I gotta go, see you on Monday, bye." Ron gave him a little wave as he dashed on his way to grab his bycicle.

---Monday---Lunch---

Ron. Ron. Ron. Ron. Ron. Ron. Get the fuck out of my head please.
Ress playfully bashed his head multiple times on his locker, groaning. It was just a single day, a single moment. Heck the moment was barely five minutes. But how could it affect him.

"You alright bum," a person placed a hand on his shoulder, patting it. "Any problems you've been facing?" Without hesitation, Ress let out two small nods. "C-can you tell me about it?"

They waited for a moment.

He nodded.

"It's a stupid problem anyways. I have stupid feeling for someome. Can't even deny the shit."

"Well, who is it?"

"It's -" Stop right there, Ress. "- none of your business, you nosey dude." Close call.
The person let out a giggle and patted his back as a sign of farewell, then hearing fading footsteps after.

Somehow inward.

---the following to weeks---Teusday---School's over---

Ress couldn't believe how much regret he had about not observing the beautiful litlle things about Ron. The way how colorful his eyes shine when something sparks his interests. The way he smiles when he meets his friends. And the way he speaks so passionately about something. His laugh, his height (huehuehue), Ress just felt like he was perfect. His flaws may be there but those are things that what  makes Ron himself.

"Ron, I like you" With such small volume, his heart seemed to burst already.

"Ron, I like you." The volume's getting louder.

He stood up.

His friends just looking at him.

Ron was there, too.

"Ron, I like you." Something so quaint yet so true.

Everyone just stared at him. Then slowly at Ron. Both face's was red, each with different reasons. "We'll... Leave you guys a moment." The rest of their friends headed back somewhere, but they knew they where still able to hear the shit that's happening.

"I'm sorry." Ron spoke, breaking the ice. His eyes looked watery, but it was obvious no tears were going to come out.

"What do you mean?" Ress asked, confused. "Won't you like me back?" That was a stupid question. Fuck it. "You like me, right -"

"No, Ress. I liked you." Ron held Ress' cold one. "I've already accepted the fact that we can't be canonized, you know?"

A weak smile.

"Now that you do this... thing, it's - it's futile, Ress. It's nothing."

Nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing.

"I - I thought you liked me first,"

"But that doesn't mean I still like you now."

"I've moved on, Ress."

"It's too late."
