Bit of an older AU, I've only done this and a half-finished digital redraw of Rain.
Does this have a name? Honestly don't know, I'd have to go look thru my Steve Saga AU notes- I have too many to keep track of.
In this world, Sabre/Elan is a YouTuber just like IRL. But instead of mostly Minecraft, he often does trips to various abandoned and unique places on his channel. Ryan (or was it Lucas?) was the one that got him into that, and had heard of these strange ruins not far from town that nobody dared enter. Sabre ends up deciding to visit these ruins, which had a strangely similar appearance to a lab. There were rumors it was from a past race of humanoid creatures that disappeared off the face of the planet.
While there, Sabre stumbled upon a room in the maze that is the hallways..
There was something living inside. A 7-foot-or-so tall creature, within a glass chamber. While tinkering with the odd and almost futuristic tech, Sabre accidentally unlocks Rainbow's chamber. And thus begins an epic journey between a random human and the seemingly last member of an ancient alien race, a lab experiment too.

Honestly, this was when I legit just got the app so I'm not surprised Rainbow n Hypno are a mess :/

But I also edited these pics in the future (I'll show those sometime else) and they looked really cool, so they're not that bad.

Galaxy, Galaxy/Void merged, Void, and the not-so-chicken-like chicken man, Sabre.

Honestly Galaxy is still my favorite lil bean from all this older art. Still the best design ever, and the design extended into Void's so that's cool
Also def could've done better with giving Sabre some actual shading. Lookin' like Origin with all those flat colors.
Thank god I figured that out in the future (ಠ_ಠ)

And we'll end the chapter with a moment with Rainbow Quest!

The hair gradient isn't too bad, but that's an automatic thing
