I am aware it's been almost a full month since I've been here, but I figured you guys would get kind of sick of me constantly apologizing for not sticking to my word, so I'll just try to keep this as brief as I can.

About two weeks ago I got really sick and had to go to the ICU and it turns out I have Type 1 diabetes now, so that's fun

Thankfully I can still go about my life relatively the same as always, I just have to count carbs now and get used to constant blood sugar tests and insulin shots :0 they're not as bad as they sound, tho. It could have been much worse.

And now I have a neat story about how I almost died by chugging orange juice :D
(Basically, since my body isn't making enough insulin, it can't properly break down sugars from carbs and thus I get really high blood sugar. To try and lower it my body gets rid of it through urine, so I had to pee like every hour, and that made me dehydrated af. Because I didn't know it was diabetes, I thought I could fix the dehydration by chugging like three or four glasses of OJ, which is really freakin high in carbs.
A normal blood sugar range is 70-180. Mine was 849 after said OJ)
