It can be from anything!

Any format, digital or traditional, or something completely different °^° just not literature XD that defeats the purpose.

When you do draw it, please write the characters name and what they're from, AND WHY you like the character so much^^

(Technically this isn't a drawing I did of Gaara, but it looks very much like him ;u;)

Why I like this character:
I love how this character was a bad guy at the start, and you truly dislike him and want the main character to beat him, but then you start to realize how much of a hurt person he is, and sympathize with him, and then soon start to really like his character as he changes into a good guy, and learns o how to love.

Doesn't have to be exactly like that, but this is just an example^^
