So you might not know this but I'm trying to be an author in the real world. Scary. I know. So I'm working on a story about a boy who moves to a new house- when I'm published you can read it. First, let me copy and paste the opening of chapter one for you. Right here VVVV. 

 "Terk."

I blinked open one eye, then the other. Where was I? Am I on the ground? I think so. Did I fall out of bed? I don't remember having a hardwood floor. When I blinked again, it hit me like a tsunami. I had moved. Instead of laying in my comfortable bed with star patterned sheets, I was lying on the floor of a bleak room with the plain black pillow and the extremely fluffy and girly (It may or may not have a fairy princess on it.) throw blanket I brought with me on the car ride here.

"Terk."

What was that noise? I scanned the room, relying on the radiant beams of moonlight pouring into the room from the circular window. As I was about to blame my tired mind for the noise, my eyes landed on something. My heart stopped. All I could see was the silhouette of a small figure. The thing tilted its head.

"Terk?" It said questioningly.

I tried to scream but my lips wouldn't move. 'Scream' I commanded my brain. Still nothing. I then suddenly remembered the "flashlight" beside my makeshift bed. Although it was a constellation projector, it would have to do. I grabbed the projector and jammed my finger against the power button. I jerked it to where my eyes had been looking, only to see a moving box. I could have sworn I had seen a blue and purple figure for a split second.
