update: so this one guy decided to sit with our small group of friends in fifth period (for those who were there irl we're not naming names)
now, this group is primarily composed of people who have periods. the five of us - me and two other girls, evan, and evan's boyfriend (who's wonderful btw, he doesn't get periods but he's v supportive)

so we were sitting and talking about how to get blood out of clothing and cramps and whatnot, and he suddenly just chimes in 'can you not talk about that?'
i stared at him, and naturally asked him, 'why?'
i've never seen someone actively flounder for words before, but attempting to justify why you don't want to hear about a completely normal body function will do that apparently

he never answered me and we finished our conversation. just as well.
