Okay but throwing that assault aside, look at the boy. Sure, I forgot to draw the lines on his face (I keep doing that, why do I keep forgetting his lines?) But he's quite the lad. Hands in his pockets, just vibing with his four wings and tail.

And Geno! Oh boy, Geno.

He has a really, really long tail. As of writing this here I actually haven't posted the chapter where he sprouts his wings, but I'm definitely going to! (I feel bad, but for the past week or two I've completely forgotten to update M&D, I haven't set an alarm for it yet..)

Fresh of course, is a radtastic lad. The spikes look like a sideways mohawk to be honest..

Also, since I doubt anyone can tell due to how badly it's drawn, he's leaning on the funky, silk covered nest.

Now, we can't forget the resident shy guy, Decan!

The little ball of anxiety. We love him.

Though.. of course... these kids don't exactly remain skeletons.
This fic is about dragons. Monsters and Dragons.

So what, exactly, would they look like as full dragons? Why of course I have those pictures, how could I not have them?

Let's take a look at Error, shall we?

The resident asshole is in fact a hybrid! A monstrous singetail, I'd say! Or, for clarity, a monstrous nightmare/singetail hybrid.

He's black with yellow splotches and red underbelly- the underside of his wings are also red! They just fade to yellow on the tips. And believe it or not, his fingers do in fact follow the usual red and yellow pattern like his phalanges as a skeleton! This goes for both the wingclaws and hands!
Of course, the lines on his face are still blue, as are his spikes. The keratin connecting the sides of his black horns is red as well, though the horn on his nose is red.

And now for the grump's twin, Geno!

Believe it or not, he DOES have a scar on his ribs that transfers to scale in a dragon form! The scar is technically a birth defect and ensuing surgery from infancy, but eh, semantics. He becomes a razorwhip, heavily armored and shiny! And yes, he has a ridiculously long tail.
His messed up socket actually largely heals as he becomes a dragon- all that remains is less reflective and more whitish scales on that side of his face.

As for the baby bro Fresh, he becomes something a bit more ironic!

A hobblegrunt! The reason it's ironic is because they change color based on emotion- and they can influence the emotions of others as well!
And given how this kid regularly loses his emotions and falls to apathy, you can see how it's ironic.

In his emotionless state he's purple, spots pale pink- as well as his eyes!
And no matter what color Fresh changes, his spots will always be varying shades of pink. They'll follow the color code his eyelights had!

As for little Decan, he goes to dramillion!

Yes, the child is holding a bone. Just because they become dragons doesn't mean they lose their magic. They were still born as skeletons, their Souls are still that of monsters, and skeletons they still are on the inside.
... Though in this universe, magic is harder to use.
Partly because there's so little left on the surface.

Anyway, he becomes a violet boi with cyan stripes and a yellow patch on either side of his head. His belly is also cyan fading to yellow in the middle! And his eyes, his eyes will be yellow fading to blue ringed in violet!

Now last but certainly not least, we have the gremlin that's in over his head- Ink!

He point, lol. Anyway, the lines you see on him? Those are the patterns that light up multicolor. Basically his birthmarks reimagined. Like a vitiligo of sorts.. and yes, he keeps his scarf. It's important to him.

Also, in case you haven't noticed, they all keep their opposable thumbs, and it doesn't even look all that different on a night fury like Ink has become.

Only two monsters that turn dragon actually loose their opposable thumbs, but to tell you either of their names would be some major spoilers!

Anyway, I never really shared Hue, did I?
Here.

He's a stormcutter/rumblehorn hybrid, though he mostly takes after the stormcutter. He has the iridescent plates and scales of the rumblehorn, giving him the reflective colors of a jewel bug.
His eyes are white and he is enormous.

But of course, in battles in this universe, he does not fight alone with Sky and Dream, no, he has more allies than that!
This universe's alternates of Raspberry and Blackberry, in fact!

Introducing Razzle!

He's a changewing with an ego bigger than his bite! Quite the asshole.. in an.. almost endearing sort of way sometimes.

And Blackheart!

A devilish dervish with an obsession over keeping his scales shiny. Him and Razzle get along like a house on fire. A dynamic duo of fuck everyone else.

Now we're getting into seriously spoilery territory!
As in the chapters involving these next characters have yet to be posted as of this moment, yet to even be written, actually!
So proceed at your own risk!

Warning aside, have Life's son.
He's a hybrid himself, half foreverwing, half bewilderbeast. He spends his time underwater and thus is covered in seagrasses.

Hint: he can barely fly. Barely. He doesn't really try to. He really shouldn't attempt it.

And now, someone you probably won't be expecting.
