so jeremy had been an angel defendant for a while now, but i've never really given them an angel form? (aside from like. their wings ig lmao) so here ya go.

um some notes about their design.

their crown/circlet thingy was inspired by sun wukong's circlet from journey to the west or from lego monkie kid. i really just liked how it looked but for some backstory in case you aren't familiar with either stories it was placed on sun wukong on his journey with the monk, Tripitaka, and essentially sun wukong was a trouble maker and someone who needed to be controlled and reformed (that's why sun wukong was on the journey) and whenever wukong would act out the circlet would activate and it would cause unbearable pain and tension around his head (tightening around it, i'm pretty sure) until Tripitaka thought he had learned his lesson. and in lmk its used in season five to punish and nerf wukong by li jing since it worked the first time gang, run it again

so yeah, that's essentially the circlet inspiration, i'm not sure if i want it to be used for the same purpose but just in case i thought it was neat.

um, the eyes on the arms and wings are a reference to how biblically accurate angels are described (mess of eyes and what not)

cool staff, not much else to say about that.

small note for their necklace is an angelic artifact that erik later steals.

cool baggy pants and what not

and some similar colour pallet, i'm not sure, digital art is not cooking lmao

but yeh .3

also blood warning ? unrealistic as always but some erik stuff

eye scar is one that he hides with aforementioned angelic artifact. also i realized that he was macaque coded (from lmk) so that was a fun realization (☹️☹️)

homosexuals

idk how liam would react to learning that his best friend tore out his boyfriends eye but i reckon it wouldn't be a good reaction.

also, in case you have or have not noticed i have been doing so much lore and updating my ocs which is honestly. scary 😭

i have not touched my ocs in a hot minute and even my partner told me that this new art revival and oc revival was crazy. and apparently i am going so insane that i am drafting a chapter to a new oc story.

so like. um. here's a rough draft of it 😭

A thoughtful hum and a soft drip of ink that trickled from the walls.

Every second it felt as if they would cave further and further, till one day it closed in and trapped her in an eternal hell. It was hard to separate that sort of destiny when fate had already dealt her such cruel hands.

From a gambler, she'd expect.

From a pushover, she'd expect.

But from her love? Now that was a different story. Longing was a tricky subject, there was not much she wished for. However, it wouldn't be fair to say that she didn't have certain selfish desires.

Selfish desires are the reason mankind keeps spinning, a certain axis that allows people to continue to think for themselves and allows them to fight for their own destiny.

As if they have a choice, as if it's some prewritten thing.

Idiocracy

However, that selfishness, that wishful and desperate want... Well, that might just open the gates for her.

It only takes one soul who wants a better hand than what they were dealt, to take on more than their shoulders could carry.

That would be their downfall.

The girl hummed as she slunk towards the walls and pressed her bony palm against the ink with a chuckle that sounded more akin to something from nightmares.

Sooner rather than later.

Clicking his tongue the brunet watched from his place in the shadows. His eyes trained on his target. Not particularly in a creepy way... at least, that's what he was telling himself.

Fishing out a grainy picture from his pocket he checked to make sure he had the correct target, or else that would get real awkward, real fast.

His eyes darted up back and forth to confirm it all. Perfect. With a soft hum, he stuck his hands in his pockets and walked into the crowd, his boots crunching against the dirt roads as the man did his best to weave himself into the crowd and keep his eyes trained ahead. He wasn't one to get distracted by the trivial festival, though he could admit that the scenery was pretty. Not what he was here for, unfortunately.

Closer and closer. However, he knew not to jump the shark too early. He'd always been told he was too cocky and way too eager when it came to taking down his target. He couldn't help it, it got too easy after a certain time. Sometimes, he was just itching to get a job done.

Like this one.

With a careful step he managed to push out of the crowd and saw his target push into a bar. Stalling for a moment, the brunette walked in a couple moments after and looked around the dark and rustic bar.

The dust was in the air and the brunet could practically feel pairs of eyes on him. Small glances in his peripheral vision could tell him that this wasn't a friendly location. Go figure.

With a bit more confidence he strolled up to the bar and took a seat near his target.

The bartender looked up at him as he shook up a drink.

"For you?"

"Surprise me." The brunette said with a grin as the bartender looked a bit confused before nodding along to the suggestion.

His brown eyes were trained on the bartender, in slight suspicion and more in self preservation as he simply watched the drink pour into a crystal clear glass. Tracing the rim with his gloved finger he heard someone speak beside him.

"Not much of a drinker?"

The brunet raised his eyebrow as he turned towards his target. Dirty blonde hair, about a foot taller than him and dark green eyes. Ones that were dangerous and a bit manic upon a closer look. Sparing a slight glance down he noticed the vague outline of a gun in his coat and quickly shot his eyes back up to his face.

"Can't say I enjoy it much." He said honestly.

His target grunted in response as he took a swig of his drink.

"Why come to a place like this, boy?" The man remarked. "Aren't you better suited for something you can handle?"

'Ugh, what a condescending asshole' The brunet thought. His thoughts were just as impulsive and blunt as he was.

"Curiosity." The brunet chose to say instead, choosing not to outright get on this man's bad side from the get go. He had to figure out how to get that gun away first.

"Killed the cat, didn't you know...?" The man grumbled as he took another swig of his drink. His eyebrow raised in response to fill in the blank.

'What a predictable response.' With a hum the brunette grinned, his name rolling off his tongue as he went to grab his drink. Not quite drinking it yet.

"Erik."

He watched the man to see if he recognized the name. He didn't seem to have much of a thought, though. Made sense, not many people knew of his existence unless you were in the right circle.

Well, in this case, he supposed the wrong circle.

"Right," The man grunted as he shifted. "Curiosity killed the cat, Erik. If you're not careful, it might kill you too."

Erik saw the way the man was testing his name out. Seeing if it rang any bells. Hiding his slight grin, Erik watched the man's eyes and saw them take another peak towards him. Then he saw it, that flicker of recognition.

Gotcha.

"Thanks for the advice." Erik hummed as the man seemingly began to get up. Clearing his throat he made the man stall in place.

"It wasn't just curiosity, though." Erik stated as he reached into his trenchcoat pocket, pulling out the grainy picture and sliding it towards the man. "I recognized you. Seems you're really popular to some."

Erik saw the man still. His eyes shifting to the picture and back to Erik over and over again before a hint of rage overtook. Yikes. Erik's eyes shifted down and saw the man reach into his coat to grab the gun. Before he could do that, he tightened his grip on the glass cup, smashing it into the man's head and watching him yell in pain as he stumbled back.

Ducking down, the brunet avoided his angry swings as he dodged the attacks and kicked. Hard.

Yeah, he preferred to use his magic for close quarters fighting, but not necessarily in a bar fight with shady people around.

Sliding forward he punched harder, attempting to knock the man out. However, it seems he was just as stubborn as they came as he punched Erik's jaw. Hard. Hissing slightly, the brunet kicked the man squarely in the chest as he ducked and retreated slightly.

Kicking one of the stools in the man's path to stop him from going forward, Erik caught his breath as he tried to figure out how to knock him out without any more destruction of private property.

"Should've listened to me earlier." The man hissed as he pulled out a gun and aimed it.

'Fucks sake' Erik thought as he rushed forward towards the gun. No way to get police here faster than a gunshot during a festival. He might be doing the right thing but he doubted the police would think the same.

He felt his eyes glow a familiar orange as he gripped the muzzle of the gun, his hand surrounded by that familiar aura as he felt the man fire three bullets.

Erik hissed slightly as he quieted the bullets and harshly kicked the man back into the bar stools and counter. The gun dropped with a clatter as Erik chuckled hoarsely. He watched the man look up at him in confusion and anger as he attempted to get up.

Erik opened his palm and dropped the three bullets on the ground with a clatter. A bored expression overtook his face as he bent slightly to scoop the gun up and walk forward to press it against the man's temple.

"Fun playing with ya," Erik hummed as he pulled the gun back slightly and shook the rest of the bullets out. "But I've had enough, and I suppose you've had the same."

The brunet snapped his fingers as orange chains wrapped around the man's wrists before he pulled him up by them. Looking around at the damage, Erik, with a warm smile, turned to the bartender who hid behind the counter.

"Sorry about the damage." Erik apologized with a hint of sincerity as he pulled out a couple of bills and slid them towards the bartender.

With a wink he flicked his wrist to open a familiar portal, humming with a faint orange glow to push the man in, saluting to the bartender on the way out.

so um, yeah, early draft of a first chapter abt the oc story. yippie.

in case you couldn't tell, this one would be shifting my focus towards erik since he's the oc that i've been retooling and working on the most. also, i haven't really written anything that isn't fan fiction in a while so this was a bit of a jolt, i write on ao3 a lot more and mostly bungo content so it's a bit wild to be going back to my wattpad routes so idk yet

m not sure if i'll make this an actual story yet but if i do look forward to it eventually? but for the time being i'll see ya next time
