I absolutely love A Man of No Consequence by BreathOfTheGlacian, it's one of the best Ardyn reader-insert story that I've read so far along with a few others. I highly recommend it for any who are thirsty for this hobotrashdaddy.

My interpretation of the reader:

How the last scene of chapter nine, the emotional conversation between reader & Ardyn,  kinda played out in my head:

"Look at you," he murmurs in his low voice.
"What were you thinking."

Gently, he drops down to one knee, taking your wrist and swiftly unlocking the cuff. Rubbing on where the metal has left a little mark, he gazes at you from under his brow.

"It had to be done."
