I've drawn all the characters from this game, and I'm gonna be saying whether I like/dislike them, why, and who I would replace them with if I were to add my characters in this game instead.

So let's get started. UwU

1) Makoto Naegi
The Ultimate Lucky Student

Makoto is the ultimate lucky student, meaning he was let into the school by a raffle. He is also the protagonist and the character that you play as.

I know he doesn't get a lot of love because of how average he is, and how often he says it, but I actually really like Makoto.

Yes he's just your generic main character, but I genuinely like how he'll always stay positive and keeps everyone else in high spirits, so much that it gets him the title of Ultimate Hope in the end of the game.

I would give his role to Noah Cipher, and make him the protagonist and the one to solve all the mysteries of Hope's Peak Academy. He would be more aggressive than Makoto, but I think the role suits him.

2) Sayaka Maizono
The Ultime Pop Sensation

Sayaka was the lead singer of a world-side famous singing group, and knew Makoto (though they never talked) when they were both in middle school.

And I do not like this girl. .-.

Yes, I'm very aware that they were all in a very difficult situation of kill or be killed, but the fact that she used Makoto's kindness to her advantage, tried to kill Leon, and wanted to frame Makoto, and the fact she was about to be the FIRST blackened just pissed me off!

I don't care that she's dead, and I'm glad she was the first to go. .-.

I'd replace her with Alexa Jackson, cuz they both bitches who I wish die over and over again. Also, just, only Alexa would. .-.

3) Leon Kutawa
The Ultimate Baseball Player

Leon was the first blackened of the game, having killed Sayaka. Now, not much information was given of Leon so I don't really have a proper opinion on him. All we know is that he thought he was gonna have a fun night with Sayaka but she wanted to kill him. . - .

I would replace him with Justin, only for the reason that he kills her. However, I have been debating to instead make Justin replace Hajime from the second game so idk.

4) Chihiro Fujisaki
The Ultimate Programmer

MY BABY TWT

Chihiro was said to be a young girl, until in the trial of her death, where she was revealed to actually be a cross-dressing boy, who had taken the appearance of a small girl to stop others from bullying his feminist figure.

I'm really sad that he died, he honestly deserved so much more. But I'm convinced Mondo and Taka adopted him in heaven so it's all good-

I would replaced him with Ben Johnson, but that would mean changing a lot of things in the story line.

5) Mondo Owada
The Ultimate Biker Gang Leader

Mondo is loved by all of the gangs in Japan, he's tough and a jackass, but I cannot express how much I love this man.

He unfortunately is the one that killed Chihiro because of a sudden burst of jealousy, and you can tell how much he regrets what he's done, because of Chihiro and his new "best friend" Taka.

I would replace him with Nate Hutson. Obviously Nate is nowhere near as aggressive as Mondo, but I feel like he would be the one to accidentally kill another, and unfortunately having to admit to his mistakes to protect everyone else because he's genuinely a good man.

Also Mondo and Taka totally fucked in that sauna, you cannot change my mind. .-.

6) Kiyotaka Ishimaru
The Ultimate Moral Compass

Taka is that kid in school who just tries to be the best student ever, always on time, and follows the rules all the time, giving him the title of the Ultimate Moral Compass.

I also love this man so damn much and he deserves so much better than he was giving and I'm still crying over his fucking death. Especially after he and Mondo became best friends, and he saw Mondo die right in front of him.

I would replace him with Austin Price, who obviously doesn't follow the rules nearly as much, but he's an upbeat guy who doesn't take things seriously. And after seeing Nate, the love of his life, die, he'd completely change beyond repare.

7) Celestia Ludenberg
The Ultimate Gambler

YOU HAVE A PRETTY NAME, PRETTY CLOTHES, BUT YOU'RE FUCKING ROTTEN.

She killed my Taka!!! She killed him, and it is unforgivable!!! And why did she kill him??? It wasn't to get out and make sure that your loved ones were safe like Sayaka. It wasn't to protect a deep heavy secret like Mondo. Oh no no.

This bitch killed my Taka over money.

MONEY.

So um, I would replace this bitch with Bree Levington, cuz they both bitches I deeply hate. UwU

8) Hifumi Yamada
The Ultimate Fanfic Creator

Hifumi is... weird. He's a pervert for anime and girls in general, and he's just kinda creepy. I kinda liked him at first, but as time went on, it's just.... no.

Also she helped Celeste kill Taka and that's a big no from me.

Anyways, I'd replace him with Victor Reynolds. Vic's very different from Hifumi, if anything, Victor's my favorite male character, but I did want him to have a role in the game so I gave him this spot. He'd be a much better character.

9) Sakura Ogami
The Ultimate Martial Artist

Sakura is probably the most respected character in this whole franchise. She was forced to become Monokuma's spy after he blackmailed her, and the one she killed was herself protect everyone else.

She gave her life so that everyone could find a way to escape, and I love and respect her so much for that. I wish you could've survived. 😔

I would replace her with Lola Robbins since they both have that tomboyish persona where they'll fight anything and everyone, but they'd both protect their friends no matter what.

10) Aoi Asahina
The Ultimate Swimming Pro

Hina is a very positive girl; very active and very social. I know that she's a lot of people's favorite people because she's the only waifu that survived, but she's not my favorite. I like her, but not as much as other characters.

Through I was really sad when she cried over Sakura.

I'd replace her with Gia Robbins, which would make sense because in the game, Sakura and Hina become best friends, and Lola and Gia are sisters.

11) Yasuhiro Hagakure
The Ultimate Clairvoyant

Hiro is very stupid. He is stupid, and I'm positive he is high almost every hour of everyday. But who knows-

Same as Hina, I like him, but he's not one of my favorites, and I guess it's cool he survived.

I'd replace him with Aiden who would obviously never get high because he's too innocent for anything, and is actually smart, but I want him to be one of the people who survive so he can meet Sage in the future.

12) Byakuya Togami
The Ultimate Affluent Progeny

What his title means is that Byakuya is the Ultimate Rich Boy, or the Ultimate Heir. He is the son of the biggest company in Japan, and will inherited in only a few years.

He's a jerk most of the time, and he has fucked up so many trials on purpose just to make the game harder, yet I for some reason love him. .-.
He does sort of become a better person in the next two games though.

I'd replace him with Ryan Riverton because they're both flighty rich, super smart, nasty little shits who I for some reason love.

13) Toko Fukawa/Genocide Jack
The Ultimate Writing Prodigy/The Ultimate Murderous Fiend

Toko became famous with her romance book and became the Ultimate Writing Prodigy. However, she also suffers from DID, meaning she has a separate personality who just so happens to be a blood thirsty serial killer known as Genocide Jack.

Toko can be a jerk at times, but in Ultra Despair Girls, she meets Komaru and they both grow as people. Also Jack is hilarious as fuck and I love her.

I'd replace her with either Luna or Liam, I just need someone to be in love with Ryan because Toko's in love with Byakuya.

14) Kyoko Kirigiri
The Ultimate Detective

Kyoko's talent is actually kept a secret until Chapter 5 (I think?), but it's pretty obvious that she's the Ultimate Detective because of how she acts around the murders.

She's serious almost all the time, super smart, and basically Makoto's side kick in the game.

I'd replace her with Iv, who would have a similar situation. She would enter the school with the title of Ultimate Dancer to hide the fact she's actually the Ultimate Detective.

15) Mukuro Ikusaba
The Ultimate Soldier

We don't even get to know that Mukuro exists until several chapters later, the secret sixteenth student. We barely know anything about her until the end, but if she's anything like her twin sister, then she a bitch. .-.

I'd replace her with Savanna Sanchez because I feel like only her would have a connection with the mastermind.

16) Junko Enoshima
The Ultimate Fashionista and Ultimate Despair

Ah, the one and only Junko, who single handedly brought the end of the world to us.

YOU BITCH.

Junko is the mastermind behind the killing game, who killed her own sister just to convince everyone it was real. She made everyone kill each other so they'd want to escape the school, even though the outside world was already very destroyed.

And I don't like her, but her design is really pretty.

I'd replace her with Lina Morningstar because I feel like only Lina would be someone that cruel.
