They used to love each other but after Miguel outed the two and framed Fernando for giving it to him. Miguel manipulated people into making Adam seem the bad guy. Adam lost it at Fernando and broke things off. They became bitter exes, always fighting, glaring and cursing at each other. They used to be so loving and affectionate 

They eventually mended fences when the truth came out and realized they were being immature. They are friendly exes now
