A lil more info on them: 

They are tracking bots, used to find and/or kill anything that's in the wrong area. They use their crab-like feet to kill their prey and then put it through their stomach, which has razor blades to make the food smaller to store until the bots are able to be cleaned out. These are not AI bots and only know what people tell them.  Their tail and chin thingy turn Green to alert higher forces once they've found their target.
