So  I kinda gave Nightmare the ability to form memories into magical spheres that, when used correctly, shares the memories within a 30 foot radius of the "explosion".

Of course the memory will only last a few seconds, but depending on how long it is, the people in the area will feel the duration of however long the memory was.

(Say, the memory was of a person waiting for 2 minutes. The people will feel 2 minutes go by, but once out of the memory, it's only a few seconds that actually passed. Sometimes it's the opposite if nightmare does it incorrectly.  Feels like 2 minutes, a day has gone by.)

Secondly, he's able to turn into a big misty form to save energy, but he can't really interact with physical objects very well in this form. Hence the mist in the background.
