I didn't know what to write but um someone told me to write something related to candy so I did so uhhh here

Ariana huffed, having just finished cleaning and carefully organizing the display window in her sweets shop. She stood up, adjusted her apron, and returned to her station near the cash register. Just then, a man entered with a child, ringing the bell situated just above the door. “Ariana?” the man inquired, observing the name tag pinned to her shirt. “Yes, may I help you?” she replied politely. She hadn’t been expecting any customers. As she opened her mouth to speak, however, the man spoke first. “Ariana, I need to speak with you about my daughter. I don't mean to alarm, but there’s something I must ask you.” he said slowly. Ariana went quiet, shocked by the intrusion and confused by the man’s inquiry. When he paused, Ariana continued, “I’m.. sorry?” “Can you please come with me?” The man stepped to the side, as if to ask to speak in private. Although, it was a small shop, so it didn't do much for them.
The man spoke quietly, at first. " You see..My daughter here's got allergies towards sugar..do you have anything that's...sugar free??" She cracked a smile, observing the child who was admiring the candy placed on the shelves as her other hand was preoccupied by what she assumed was her father's.
She could tell why he pulled them aside, it was an odd question, and being a candy shop in a bustling city would be sure to attract attention.
"..Of course. Would you mind waiting by the counter? I may still have some of those sugar-free suckers in stock. " she grinned, the man thanking her profusely as he followed her to the counter. Ari reached under the counter, pulling out one of many of the candy-stocked drawers and grabbing a bag of sugar free, raspberry-flavoured pops, and pouring them into their designated container. " There you go! " The man grabbed a couple, placing them on the counter. After paying, he gave one to his daughter and mentioned, " once again, It's appreciated! " Before turning to leave. Ari smiled in return, of which fizzled away when she noticed the logo on the back of the man's coat. "...CU? Aren't they  part of a huge candy recipe influencer group?.." She speculated why they would have taken interest in a small shop like hers.

My idea was maybe it was like, that company had actually been stealing their recipes, and they needed a new sugar-free one idk

I didn't know how to execute the idea on candy so this was the best I could do ¯\_(:/)_/¯
