In my general story world, it's quite the opposite.

Demons are kinda

Uh

Reliant on humans to do everything/ "survive"

They were all humans, except the Princes of Hell/ equivalent

Angels

Are the same.

They rely on one singular godly entity, or the True God

And the True God (and all other gods) are created from both the remnants of former True Gods and humanity's belief

So without Gods who function with the mindset of humans

Angels literally cannot function

So

The human race as a whole is the most powerful race in my world
