Yeah, I'm pretty sure nobody asked for this, but this is how I draw eyes! This method is simple, yet effective.

Step 1: Draw the outline of the eye! You can draw it however you'd like, but I usually like to draw mine like this! I'm going for a much simpler style, since I don't like to spend that much time drawing eyes.

Step 2: Color in the eye! Create a layer underneath the eye outline, and use your character's eye color for the circle of the eye (idk what it's called). Then, use a lighter version of that color for the outer ring.

Step 3: Add highlights! Use an incredibly pale shade of your original color, and draw two ovals directly on top of the outline! I usually do one bigger oval above the smaller one. The highlights I used are pale purple.

Step 4: Add the shading! Create a new layer on top of the eye color, but underneath the outline. Then, color in a cresent sort of shape on the upper half of the eye!

Step 5: Finally, decrease the opacity of the layer you just made, so it looks more transparent. Your end product should look something like this:

And there you have it, an eye! This is what it looks like on the thing I am drawing right now (I'll post the finished product later):
