It's exactly like the title says. I've been watching a lot more art vids on YouTube than normal, and I discovered something called "The 3 marker challenge." It's pretty simple, but not necessarily easy. It's pretty much all about testing how much you can improvise. So basically what you do is: take all of your markers (they can be any brand but I typically see people using Copics) and put them all in a bag. Shake the bag up, and blindly pick 3 markers. You must use those markers, and only those markers, to color in your sketch.

Okay, so I did a combination of my Copics and my Crayola blending markers because I'm not made of money, and I didn't buy the 72 pack of Copics. So I had to have a decent amount of different colored markers to make this challenge work. I know that I can't confirm this for you guys, but you're just gonna have to trust me when I say that I pulled out: A black Crayola marker, a Wistria Crayola marker, and Phthalo Blue Copic.

Unmentioned allowances:
- I am allowed to use a colorless blender in addition to my 3 markers
-I am allowed to sketch my character's design based off of the colors I selected

Omg guys.....this was 1,000x more stressful than I thought it was gonna be. I knew it wasn't gonna be easy...but...oh man. She came out okay I guess. I like the colors, I like the design, but I honestly don't like her face or hair. I liked her face and hair in sketch form, but once I started coloring it...eh. I severally regret doing the black in her hair, other than that, her hair looks great. Unfortunately, I just think the black ruined it. Also, her neck is a tad bit big for her body. Oh, and that finger there looks a little....deformed :|. You can't see it in the picture, but her face is just a little gray too, which was a consequence of the Blend marker accidentally blending the black. But other than that, I really like her. It took me a total of about 2 1/2 hours to draw and color her.
