Im not dead.
This is my characters for DnD. You can read her background from a couple posts ago if you want to and haven't already. She is a Fighter class, Mountain Dwarf with a Soldier background, for those of you who play DnD. I like her for the most part, except her nose and mouth and fist. They all look strange.
This was requested by _lettherainfall For those of you who don't know who this is, then this is Connor Murphy from DEH (Dear Evan Hansen) He is a VERY important character in the Broadway Musical, even though we don't actually get to see him...uh, you know. I find Connor to be an extremely interesting character since we never actually get to see what he was really like. Well, we do, but it was very brief, and it didn't tell much, which I think was done on purpose. If you're wondering about the little brown spot in his eye, then no, it wasn't a mistake. Many fans don't know that Connor and the actor who plays him, Mike Faist, has a brown spot in his right eye. It's a condition called Heterochromia. It's pretty cool 💙
So I was doodling Animators on YouTube, but I wanted to do more...to put it bluntly, less popular animators, in their style. This is Kelsey from Kelsey Animates, and I actually really like her. I like listening to her videos sometimes while I'm drawing. Highly recommended.
This is Emily from Emirichu, another animator. She more well known than Kelsey, but she's defiantly still less known than animators like TheOdd1sOut, JaidenAnimations, and Domics. She mostly does Storytimes and Animatics, which are all really good. Highly recommended.
This is Illy from Illymations. Her videos are also really good. I know that I added the hair shines to Kelsey's doodle, but she actually doesn't have hair shines in her art style. Those were my own addition because I thought they'd look nice, which they did. But with Illy's, I decided against it. Simply because the main attraction in Illy's figure is is her hair, with her circular glasses being a close 2nd. So I thought it'd look too weird and out of place.
So I would've just edit out the sketch to the left, but it was kinda hard to avoid with that elbow of her's, and I know that you guys like seeing my sketches anyway so...This was inspired from my Orange girl from my Inktober, if you guys remember that. And looking back, I reeeeeaally dislike her. So I decided to remake her without limiting myself so much. This is what I came up with! I'm really, really happy with her! I liked the idea of dressing her up in clothes that I usually wouldn't dress characters up in, along with the hair. I don't do waves like that too often.
So going along with the theme of "Remaking some of the Color Girls that I didn't like from my Inktober, without restricting myself so much, yet still using all my markers I had in that color", I came up with Green and Purple. Now, I actually like the original Purple girl I did before, but I felt like I could've done better. The original Green girl on the other hand...I absolutely hated. For Green, I did keep the pattern of original on her top because it was cute and it was a good way to squeeze all the green colors together. For Purple, I kept the sweater, the purple princess dress, and the bow because they looked nice. I also really wanted to try out drawing new hair styles like I did with Orange 2.0, and I'm VERY, VERY happy with how they turned out. They look so nice! It's like breathing in fresh air, I love it.
Anyway, I'm so sorry that I was gone for so long. I hope you like them all! Tell me what you think!
